What I can say, is that it's never easy to get something like this.

I tried to get the crow on the moon's face, but it swung away at the last moment.
Not that I mind, as I have posted birds and planes on the moon's face before, and I will get more as time goes by. The days of regretting missed shots is long gone, as there is always a tomorrow that delivers other great sights. In any case, I just continue unperturbed with the gifts that the Creator shows me every day, and the gifts are many, as He knows my heart.
So, here I have some sights to share with you in order to show you the wonders of nature.
Come and have a look.

Now for an African Harrier Hawk (Polyboroides typus) in action.

Thankfully we will now have a few clear days with cold winds, but after all of the rain, all the birds are scattering around in search of food. The hawk was obviously searching for a snake, or any rodent life on the peaks, as it glided around effortlessly with its strong wings. I have even seen them hunting for wild rabbits on the plains, but on this occasion, the hawk landed up empty handed, or should that be empty beaked :)
Nevertheless, I took some photos just in case it got lucky with a score.

Back to the moon a bit earlier in the day, and I waited for it to sit on a tree top.

But instead, it was a bit stubborn and rather showed me how it would rather appear between two tree tops.

Patience is a virtue, as I knew that it would move over, and when it did, I simply walked closer to get it smack bang on a tree top.

Just a bit of innocent fooling around a bit in order to get my camera to stop nagging me, as I am trying to teach it patience. One thing that I have noticed though, is that my camera is getting tired, as lately some blurred photos appear during a photo shoot. It has never done it before, but it works very hard, and maybe it's starting to wear the same as my previous SX60 that ended up on a scrap heap. I just hope that it will last until the end of the year, as I am in the process of saving up in order to buy another used one in December. So far so good, and I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.
That's all for now.
