I have some random shots to show you the beauty, as a warning is out for strong winds and I love to see how the winds dance with the clouds in the sky.
Early morning and I knew it was going to be one of those fancy days again.
We can only work for 3 hours, from 9am to 12, as a scheduled power cut took place from 12 to 4 pm. Debilitating and I can only imagine how the small businesses suffer with no power. It is on a wing and a prayer that we carry on, but I can tell you that things are not easy and many a plan gets cancelled because of the power situation. Then of course we also have the rain to cope with and we had to postpone a meeting with two hive friends twice now.
Hopefully on Monday when we meet, it will not rain and we will have power.
But enough of our problems and come to see what I have in here for you.
A big cloud dumped itself upon the mountain.
Another picture of the cloud covered mountain as we drove out on the road.
This was our destiny and the views were stunning.
This below is a closer look at the picture above.
And here is an even closer look.
The sun broke clear as you can see in the shining trees at the front.
And finally a little sunbird came in to sit on an aloe.
It's now 9:43pm and at 10pm we will have another shorter power cut that will last from 10 to 12pm. Nothing to look forward to at present, as the raindrops are now also playing piano on our roof. The wind sings along with the raindrops as it howls outside my window here, and it is the music of nature.
Slowly, slowly, we will be dragged into a warmer stage later in spring and then of course the African summer will arrive. They reckon that this is going to be one of our hotter summers, and if it is worse than last summer, then we are really in line to be fried. Raw, medium, or well-done :)
I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
