Hola amigos, hoy traigo para ustedes una muestra de fotografías que realicé en una boda al estilo indio. Les comento que en varias oportunidades he trabajado capturando momentos en bodas, algunas veces me ha tocado ir como asistente y en otras como el fotógrafo principal, he estado en bodas judías, Celtas, cada una tiene sus peculiaridades y son muy bonitas.
Este día me levanté temprano y había preparado mi equipo la noche anterior pues el lugar donde se encontraba la novia me quedaba un poco retirado, así que tomé mi cámara, mis lentes, mi flash y como dicen por aquí, puse manos a la obra.
En esta ocasión fue una boda al estilo indio, durante el día La luz natural estaba espectacular e ideal para capturar las tomas que les traigo. Unos de mis tonos favoritos son los naranjas, los tonos amarillos y sus variantes en el degradado, es por eso que me fascinan los atardeceres como les mostré en una publicación anterior, ese día eran los colores que más resaltaban en él ambiente, así que me sentí como pez en el agua.
La sesión de fotos comenzó temprano en el Hotel donde se preparaba la novia para ese momento tan especial, logré hacer unas tomas mientras se encontraba junto a sus amigas y familiares quienes estaban colocando cada detalle en su lugar, llamó mi atención los diseños que colocaron en sus manos, a estos, tengo entendido que le llaman Pintura de Henna y sus diseños son muy elaborados y llamativos, de igual manera en detalles y elaboración era su vestido y otros accesorios que le colocaban, que realzaban la belleza de la novia, en las bodas al estilo indio las novias usan en su frente una especie de peineta que se llama Maang Tikka y a las pulseras para sus manos les llaman Hathphool o Bangles, todo su atuendo es bastante elaborado y son muy meticulosos al momento de la preparación para la ceremonia, el cabello no escapa de estos detalles, generalmente llevan trenzas como fue en este caso, todo esto complementa un diseño deslumbrante a ser usado por la novia.
La verdad que esta oportunidad de trabajar como fotógrafo en esta boda me gustó mucho, el colorido brindaba una atmosfera única para ser capturada a través de mi lente, quiero conocer más sobre esta cultura y espero tener nuevas oportunidades de este tipo.

Photographing an Indian-style Wedding
Hello friends, today I bring to you a sample of photographs that I took at an Indian-style wedding. I want to share that I have worked capturing moments at weddings on several occasions, sometimes as an assistant and other times as the main photographer. I have been at Jewish, Celtic weddings, each with its own peculiarities and all very beautiful.
I woke up early on this day and had prepared my equipment the night before, as the place where the bride was getting ready was a bit far away. So, I took my camera, my lenses, my flash, and as they say around here, I got down to work.
On this occasion, it was an Indian-style wedding. During the day, the natural light was spectacular and ideal for capturing the shots that I bring to you. Some of my favorite tones are oranges, yellow tones, and their variations in the gradient. That's why I love sunsets, as I showed in a previous post. Those were the colors that stood out the most in the environment that day, so I felt right at home.
The photo session started early at the hotel where the bride was getting ready for that special moment. I managed to take some shots while she was with her friends and family, who were putting every detail in place. I was struck by the designs they placed on her hands, which, I understand, are called Henna Paintings, and their designs are very elaborate and eye-catching. Similarly, her dress and other accessories that they put on her were elaborate and enhanced the bride's beauty. In Indian-style weddings, brides wear a kind of comb on their foreheads called Maang Tikka, and they call the bracelets for their hands Hathphool or Bangles. Their entire outfit is quite elaborate, and they are very meticulous in the preparation for the ceremony. The hair also doesn't escape these details; they generally have braids, as was the case here. All of this complements a dazzling design to be worn by the bride.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to work as a photographer at this wedding. The colorful setting provided a unique atmosphere to be captured through my lens. I want to learn more about this culture and hope to have new opportunities of this kind.
