Hi friends,
This week, I was too occupied to follow Hive often. I found out how I miss Hive community, the moment of concentrating on writing and sharing my life on Hive. Now it is the end of the really hardworking day, I still can't hold on my sharing a little bit on Hive.
When I worked a lot and lived very fast, I realize how I was so lucky to have some peaceful moments just staying in silence and enjoy how the life is... Sometimes many common scenes are so familiar with me that I ignore their beauty. At chance, my dad told me and my younger sisters to go out and drink sugarcane juice. It was a very hot day so I felt tired to enter out. But after arriving there and sitting, I could not keep me from taking some photos of a bridge.
Seeing these pictures, most people will think that the bridge was built some years ago. However Đập Đá bridge (the name of this bridge) was built over 100 years ago, in 1907. And it was repaired about 3 years ago. Before 1907, people in my hometown usually commuted by small boats that were very popular that time.
Looking at the bridge, the tourists or other local people will not dare to come across due to its danger-looking. For me, it is my amazing childhood. If it is a sunny day, it is not a problem to pass over the bridge. But when the strong winds come or rainy season, it is a challenge to go over the bridge. I always feel a bit scared and must be bit brave to come across the bridge each time.
Especially when there is significant flood, water will overflow the bridge and create a beautiful and majestic scene. At that time, I realize that how small humans are in front of mother nature. That scene is a part of me, of my childhood, my life. In rainy season, people will gather near the bridge with rudimentary tools to.. catch fishes. 😊 I am always excited to the "fishing-event" and never forget to invite my brother to go with. We usually walk in the rain and play with water splashing. That moment maybe the most splendid moment in my life. Even though in future I will live anywhere, the bridge with the beautiful childhood always follows me.
Thank you for reading. Have a nice and sweet weekend! 😊
Enjoy your life.
