Hello to all my dear friends who love photography, I hope you are all well.
A few days ago I thought of sharing with you some images I took using the black and white style. I noticed that several people liked this type of photography that I focused mainly on nature.
Some of them told me that what caught their attention the most was to be able to see the things that we normally overlook in the environment in a different way. So today I decided that I wanted to bring you a little more of this style of photography.
In case you haven't seen my previous posts, I personally have 3 styles of photography as my favorites. The first and one of the most used is the macro, the second is the backlight and finally the incomparable black and white.
The images you will see in a few moments have a mix of these 3 styles of photography. After you see them I will tell you how I took some of them, enjoy them.
Hola a todos mis estimados amigos amantes de la fotografía, espero que todos estén bien.Hace unos días se me ocurrió compartir con ustedes algunas imágenes que tomé usando el estilo del blanco y el negro. Pude notar que a varias personas les gustó este tipo de fotografía que enfoqué principalmente a la naturaleza.
Algunos me comentaban que lo qué más le llamaba la atención era el poder ver las cosas que normalmente pasamos por alto en el medio ambiente de un modo distinto y diferente. Así que hoy decidí que quería traerles un poco más de este estilo de fotografía.
Les cuento por si no han visto mis anteriores post, que yo en lo personal tengo como favoritos 3 estilos de fotografía. El primero y uno de los que más uso es el macro, el segundo es el contraluz y finalmente el inigualable blanco y negro.
Las imágenes que verán en unos instantes tienen una mezcla de estos 3 estilos de fotografía. Después que las vean les cuento como tomé algunas de ellas, que las disfruten.
Now that you have seen them, I'll tell you how I went about capturing some of them. The first one (the one I used as the cover) was one I took using some creativity. I had a white cardboard at home and I came up with the brilliant idea of using it as a background for the photo. Haha.
I looked through some plants we have in the garden and took some of their leaves. Then I put them on the cardboard. Right away I realized that I needed a light source from above.
I started trying with the flash of my phone but it burned the image a lot and above all it created a lot of reflections. Then I resorted to another method, this one consisted of putting the cardboard under a light bulb that we have at home. It did not radiate much light so it was perfect to create the effect I wanted.
On the other hand, photo #5 that you can see was taken in a different way. I wanted to highlight the edges and the texture of the leaf, so I needed the right light source.
What I did was to turn off all the lights in the house and go dark. Then I turned on a flashlight and placed it behind the leaf to highlight all its details. Finally with my phone I took the picture from the other side, and that's how I got that result.
As for all the others, I used the sky as a background and looked for the right angle so that they were backlit. The last photo has a surprise, if you look closely you can see that it has a small snail between the spines of the plant. Seeing it there is what caught my attention and thanks to him, today this image is in hive.

Luego las puse sobre la cartulina. Enseguida me di cuenta que me hacía falta una fuente de iluminación que fuera desde arriba. Comencé probando con el flash del teléfono pero me quemaba mucho la imagen y sobre todo creaba muchos reflejos. Entonces recurrí a otro método, este consistió en poner la cartulina debajo de una bombilla que tenemos en casa. La misma no irradiaba mucha iluminación por lo que fue perfecto para crear el efecto que yo deseaba. Por otro lado la foto #5 que pudieron apreciar fue tomada de un modo un tanto diferente. Para ella quería destacar los bordes y la textura de la hoja, por lo que necesitaba de manera similar a la anterior una fuente correcta de luz. Lo que hice fue apagar todas las luces de la casa y quedarme a oscuras. Luego encendí una linterna y la puse detrás de la hoja para destacar todos sus detalles. Finalmente con mi teléfono tomé la foto del otro lado, y así fue como conseguí ese resultado. En cuanto todas las demás usé el cielo como fondo y busque el ángulo adecuado para que me quedaran a contraluz. La última foto tiene una sorpresa, si se fijan bien podrán observar que tiene un pequeño caracol entre las espinas de la planta. El verlo ahí fue lo que llamó mi atención y gracias a él hoy esa imagen está en hive. Pues mis apreciados amigos de hive, este ha sido mi post del día de hoy. Ahora que ya las pudieron apreciar les cuento como fue el proceso para capturar algunas de ellas. La primera (la que usé de portada) fue una que tomé usando algo de creatividad. Tenía una cartulina blanca en la casa y se me ocurrió la brillante idea de usarla como fondo para la foto. Jaja.
