Hello everyone!

Well, after so long, I finally got out of my home XD. Today was a special day as it was my uncle's birthday (71 years old) and we decided to go to the beach, unbelievably after 3 years. He is an old man and going out basically anywhere is something that has been forgotten, plus we don't have our own car so we have to use public transportation and that's a bit uncomfortable in a way.

But against all odds, we convinced my aunt and uncle to go to the beach for a different day than usual, and it was an amazing day :)

The beach we went to is called "Playa Pampatar", one of the most well known beaches on the island as there is little surf and it is usually a pretty quiet place. Because it was a day like any other, not many people go to the beach, and I am someone who prefers to be in quiet places so it was a pretty good plus to go.

Here I noticed that I was out of shape, I had gone swimming and it was amazing how fast I got tired XD. I also had a very long time without coming to a beach, and swimming about 30 meters already made me feel exhausted and I was starting to float on the beach.

Since I took my phone with me to take pictures, obviously I couldn't just take pictures of the infinity of the sea so we walked around a bit to see what we could find interesting. We went to a small port where I noticed that there are now statues, a bit strange and in quite... banal places: But there they are, no idea what for or what they want to represent.

Don't you find them curious? I don't have the slightest idea what they want to represent, what do you think?

Also while we were bathing some friends decided to join us.

Usually I see very few pelicans so close to the shore, but amazingly they were hunting fish very close to the shore. They were also resting, so hey, I took the opportunity to take a picture of them. I don't know how good temperament they have, so I preferred to keep a little distance, they were enough to easily give me a few bites that I was absolutely sure would hurt quite a bit.

As I was resting in the sand, I saw these little insects. I have absolutely no idea what they are, but I decided to take a few pictures of them and see how "macro" my phone camera really is.

I didn't think their face would look so cute when you see them up close. When you see them from far away, especially the place where they have their paws, they are really horrifying T_T.

But that was my day! I tried to take good pictures... but just couldn't find a way to make them look epic. More than anything, it was a day to enjoy :)

Bueno, después de tanto tiempo, por fin salí de mi hogar XD. Hoy fue un día especial ya que mi tío cumplió años (71 años) y decidimos ir a la playa, increíblemente luego de 3 años. Él es un señor mayor y salir básicamente a cualquier lugar es algo que quedó en el olvido, sumado a que no tenemos un automovil propio por lo que tenemos que usar el transporte público y eso en cierto modo es un poco incómodo.

Pero contra todo pronóstico, convencimos a mis tíos de ir a la playa para que pasen un día diferente a lo habitual, y fue un día increíble :)

La playa a la que fuimos se llama "Playa Pampatar", una de las playas más conocidas en la isla ya que hay poco oleaje y usualmente es un lugar bastante tranquilo. Debido a que era un día como cualquier otro, no mucha gente va a la playa, y yo soy alguien que prefiere estar en lugares tranquilos así que fue un plus bastante bueno para ir.

Aquí noté que no estaba en forma, había salido a nadar y era increíble lo rápido que me cansaba XD. Yo también tenía muchísimo tiempo sin venir a una playa, y nadar unos 30 metros ya hacía que me sintiera exhausto y comenzaba a flotar en la playa.

Ya que me llevé mi teléfono para tomar fotos, obviamente no podía simplemente tomar fotos a la infinidad del mar por lo que caminamos un poco para ver qué conseguíamos de interesante. Fuimos a un pequeño puerto donde noté que ahora hay estátuas, un poco extrañas y en lugares bastante.. banales: Pero ahí están, ni idea de para qué o qué quieren representar.

¿No les parecen curiosas? Yo no tengo ni la más mínima idea de qué quieren representar, ¿ustedes qué creen?

También mientras nos bañábamos unos amigos nos decidieron acompañar.

Usualmente veo muy pocos pelícanos tan cerca de la orilla de la playa, pero increíblemente se veía cómo estaban cazando pescados muy cerca de la orilla. También aprovecharon a descansar, así que hey, aproveché a tomarles una foto. No sé qué tan buen temperamento tengan, así que preferí mantener un poco de distancia, eran suficientes para que fácilmente me dieran unos cuantos mordiscos que estaba totalmente seguro de que dolerían bastante.

Cuando estaba descansando en la arena, vi a estos pequeños insectos. No tengo ni la menor idea de qué son, pero decidí tomarles unas cuantas fotos y ver qué tan "macro" es realmente la cámara de mi teléfono.

No pensé que su rostro se vería tan tierno cuando los ves de cerca. Cuando los ves desde lejos, especialmente el lugar donde tienen las patas, son realmente horrorosos T_T

¡Pero ese fue mi día! Intenté tomar fotos buenas.. pero simplemente no encontraba la forma de hacer que se vieran épicas. Más que nada, fue un día para disfrutar :)
