Mondays come with their own set of challenges and responsibilities, and today was no different. My day began with an unexpected delay. I left home on time, but an accident blocked the road I usually take to work. Unfortunately, there was no alternative route available, so I had no choice but to wait until the road cleared. By the time I arrived at work, I was already an hour late.
My primary duty as a teacher is to instruct students and mark attendance. However, today brought an additional responsibility. A student from our school is participating in a brain teaser competition scheduled for tomorrow at the district level. I had to dedicate extra time to preparing him for the event.
After attending to my regular tasks, I started working on preparing possible questions that might come up during the competition. I searched through various resources and compiled a list of brain teasers I felt were relevant. I then asked the student to stay back after school so we could have more time to review the questions thoroughly.
Our study session lasted about two hours. During this time, we worked through each question, discussing the possible answers and strategies to approach similar problems. The student showed great enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, which made the preparation process smoother. After we completed the review, I advised him to go home and rest so he could be well-prepared and refreshed for tomorrow’s event.
Once the student left, I decided to take a stroll around the school compound to unwind. The beauty of nature caught my attention, and I felt drawn to capture the serene environment. I noticed several birds flying gracefully in the sky, while others perched quietly on tree branches. 
I took out my phone and attempted to photograph the birds. However, some of the pictures didn’t turn out as clear as I hoped. I couldn’t get too close to the birds, as I didn’t want to disturb them. Despite the challenges, I managed to capture a few decent shots that reflected the natural charm of the surroundings.
This quiet moment of observing nature brought a sense of peace and relaxation after a hectic day. It reminded me of the importance of appreciating the small, beautiful things around us, even amidst our busy schedules.
