Yesterday afternoon, I saw @fotostef getting ready to go out with a sparkle in the eyes that hadn't seen for quite some time now. He was going to experiment on taking some photos and I got excited, I love new games! The name of the new game is Intentional Camera Movement and here I am! First time taking these kind of shots. I enjoyed it so much that I think I am going to do it again soon.
Path and olive grove.
ICM doggy.
Olive grove.
Getting closer.
Olive grove in spiral.
Trees.
Windy winter olive grove.
Not even mountains are stable any more.
Observing the village.
Some backstage photos. @fotostef doing his thing! After having helped me understand what I have to do :)
In a spiral.
In time loop.
I really like this one, the tiny playground of the village. I like the colors, they are more vivid, but at the same time the feeling is dark.
And the beloved sage!
Sage in front of rocks.
Here are some more pictures with more light colors and a more abstract result.
Surrendering to the wind.
Dancing figures.
Unity.
Where is all this moving purple?
For the end, the most abstract finale. I couldn't resist. In the beginning I wanted the subject to be clear. After a while I started enjoying the freedom of the movement and at the end fantasy won :)
Entities of the mountain.
Oneness.
This post was inspired by @fotostef that introduced me to the ICM technique although he also tried it yesterday for the first time and you can check the outstanding results here. And of course none of these would have happened if it wasn't for the amazing IMC Photography Quest by @qurator!
How wonderful it feels learning new things, playing new games and seeing the world from another perspective.
