The goddess of wisdom, knowledge and arts, the one who symbolise music. A feminine deity with healing and purifying powers of abundance and flowing water.
The goddess Saraswati.
One such lucky chance I had to portray the mother goddess, As you guys can see my hair is completely covered with the jasmine flowers. The art of styling this flower isn't easy as it seems to be.
It takes about 4 to 5 hours to get a perfect look.
The name of this hairstyle is SHARADA JALLI Sharada is the name of goddess Saraswati.
This is the classic Mangalorean hairstyle using a lot of jasmine flowers and sometimes rose petals as well.
This styling is generally done for a Konkani brides or most of the time in my hometown, the pregnant women during their baby shower at the 6th or 7th month of their pregnancy. Well, there was a workshop for this hairstyle at TamaraMakeupStudio.
Most of the women from South India love to have hair full of Jasmine flowers.
"Having this hairstyle doesn't mean each one is portraying goddess."
Portraying a goddess isn't easy and sometimes it don't go well with a society. Yes!!! People here have a lot of emotional connection with Lord, tradition and cultures. Most of the people oppose that a human is not supposed to portray the Lord.
Well, luckily I didn't had to face this issue. Very grateful for this ❤ As a Bharatnatyam dancer(Indian classical dance), I was well known with the art of mudras (hand gestures)
This picture Portrays the typical pose of goddess Sharada. She the goddess of music and plays the musical instrument VEENA.
The capture of these beautiful pictures was by Espoir Photography.

At the end of this shoot I had really a bad head pain as well as body pain. It was because of heavy jewelry that I had to wear and also due to this hairstyle. But, happy that the pain was worthy 😅
THANK YOU ALL
HAVE A GOOD DAY❤
