It's been a while since I did a photographic section, especially if it was about portraying a model, because in this case I used as a model my wife @carminasalazarte, who had been asking me for some weeks ago to take some pictures of her, but I don't do this kind of pictures, where a model is required, and you have to plan certain poses in front of the camera. In general, when I take portrait photographs, I always capture the image in the most spontaneous way, where the person being photographed acts with the naturalness of the moment.
However, it is always a good experience and also as practice, to make other forms of photographs that are not usually usual in your person, in my case I always do urban photography, landscape or even animals on certain occasions, and for this section of photos I could not miss the opportunity of that natural light, specifically the sun, that at an exact time of the afternoon, you can capture that warmer colour temperature, as reflected in most of the photographs shown in this publication.
Hace tiempo que no hacía una sección de fotografía, sobre todo si se trataba de retratar a un modelo, porque en este caso utilicé como modelo a mi esposa @carminasalazarte, que llevaba unas semanas pidiéndome que le hiciera unas fotos, pero no suelo hacer este tipo de fotografías, donde se requiere un modelo, y hay que planificar ciertas poses ante la cámara. En general, cuando hago fotos de retrato, siempre capto la imagen de la manera más espontánea, donde la persona fotografiada actúa con la naturalidad del momento.
No obstante, siempre es una buena experiencia y también como práctica, realizar otras formas de fotografías que no suelen ser habituales en tu persona, en mi caso siempre hago fotografía urbana, de paisaje o incluso de animales en determinadas ocasiones, y para este apartado de fotos no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de esa luz natural, concretamente la del sol, que a una hora exacta de la tarde, se puede captar esa temperatura de color más cálida, como se refleja en la mayoría de las fotografías que se muestran en esta publicación.
On the other hand, I also wanted to use as a photographic technique the Rembrandt style, by which we see in certain photographs where the model has a lighted part of the face, while the other half of the face is almost or completely in the dark. In itself is an easy technique to apply, we only have to place the model or object to be photographed from an angle, which reflects the illumination by a part of that object or individual.
Of course, it is another way of composing, which was initially applied by painters, and especially by the painter who gave his name to this technique Rembrandt, who was characterized in applying this approach to lighting in most of his paintings, for those who are interested in this photographic and pictorial technique, you can find out more on the Internet about its theory and application.
Por otra parte, también quise utilizar como técnica fotográfica el estilo Rembrandt, por la cual vemos en ciertas fotografías donde la modelo tiene un parte iluminada del rostro, mientras que la otra mitad del rostro esta casi o completamente a oscuras. En sí es una técnica fácil de aplicar, solo debemos ubicar la modelo u objegivo a fotografiar desde un ángulo, que se refleje la ilumacion por una parte de ese objeto o individuo.
Por supuesto, es otra manera de componer, que inicialmente fue aplicado por los pintores, y sobre todo por el pintor que dio su apelllido a esta técnica Rembrandt, que se caracterizaba en aplicar este enfoque de iluminación en la mayoría de sus pinturas, para quienes esten interesados en este técnica fotográfica y pictórica, pueden indagar más en Internet sobre su teoría y aplicación.
Whereas in the photographic shots, they are all closed shots, or close-ups and very close-ups, as in the case of this detail of the eye. In my opinion, my motive in this photographic section is to highlight in detail the beauty, where her face makes more presence in the photographic frame, as well as that contrast in tonalities in her skin, due to a warm and well balanced illumination on the figure.
Among many aspects, is what you can mention about these photographs, technical aspects necessary to perform this section, while in its meaning as such, does not have a deep feature, it is only to capture the reflection of the beauty of the model, as that portrait that remains for posterity within the wonderful and beautiful world of photography, and that we as lovers of photography, which is well named this community, we always seek to capture those best moments or images.
Mientras que en los planos fotográficos, todos son planos cerrados, o en su defecto primer plano y primerísimo primer plano, tal como el caso de ese detalle del ojo. A mi pensar, mi motivo en esta sección fotográfica es resaltar en detalles la belleza, donde hace más precencia en el encuadre fotográfico su rostro, así como ese contraste en tonalidades en su piel, debido a una iluminación cálida y bien equilibrada sobre la figura.
Entre muchos aspectos, es lo que puede mencionar sobre estas fotografías, aspectos técnicos necesarios para realizar esta sección, mientras que en su significado como tal, no tiene una característica profundo, solo es captar el reflejo de la belleza del modelo, como ese retrato que queda para la posterioridad dentro del maravilloso y hermoso mundo de la fotografía, y que nosotros como amantes de la fotografía, que bien se nombra esta comunidad, siempre buscamos captar esos mejores momentos o imágenes.
