The backlit photography is a simple lighting technique to perform and at the same time generates a good photographic composition, to vary any reason to make a good photograph. And as the word says, it seeks to contrast the figure of the photograph with the focus of light.
In this occasion as it is shown in this published photograph, a figure of a statue is denoted, where it is not possible to see with details the figure itself, but the silhouette is highlighted, which would be the real intention with this type of technique.
It can be done with artificial or natural lighting. Although this time I took advantage of natural light, specifically at sunset, when the sunlight is softer and softer. This way the figure is framed facing the main light source, so that the camera highlights the silhouette with great depth.
On the other hand, if we want to use artificial light, we have to use a light source such as a lamp, and place it behind the main figure.
It is a very magical type of photography, which will give very elementary results to make other types of photographs, and which in turn is simple to perform. I invite you to put this technique into practice and I hope that you will have the best results, so that you will have a more diverse photographic portfolio. Thank you for your attention and best regards.
