Rising Star - My Daily song choice, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Adventure of a Lifetime: Coldplay

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Beat The Devil's Tatto of the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Adventure of a Lifetime of the band Coldplay.

A few days ago, I was quite bored looking at memes on Instagram, when I got an advertisement that I didn't expect. The ad was the recommendation of a Spotify playlist, something quite strange for an advertisement. The playlist in question was of the best songs of all time that were part of the soundtrack of the soccer video game FIFA.

Thanks to this saga, I have discovered many old songs or alternative artists, that I would not have had the opportunity to know them if it were not thanks to it. Although it is an abusive saga that releases practically the same game every year with two improvements and sells it at full price, I can't help but feel affection for FIFA, especially for its menu songs, which I have enjoyed in at least ten installments.

In the playlist I mentioned, I found a song I quite liked called Adventure of a Lifetime. This song is by the hit band Coldplay, but until now I had no idea it belonged to them. In fact, although I know how popular they are, I don't think I know more than five of their songs.

Coldplay is a British alternative rock band formed in 1996 by vocalist and pianist Chris Martin with guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion. The band's first success came thanks to their first album released in 2000 called Parachutes. This album included some of the band's biggest hits such as Yellow and Sparks.

Adventure of a Lifetime was released in 2015 for their album called A Head Full of Dreams. The song features the band members as if they were CGI animated chimpanzees. The song was a complete international hit, reaching the top 10 in several countries and is considered one of the band's most famous songs.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
