Rising Star - My Daily song choice, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Real Niggaz Don't Die: N.W.A

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Watch Dem Niggas of the artists Nas & Foxy Brown

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Real Niggaz Don't Die of the legendary hip-hop group N.W.A.

It all starts a few years ago, when I used to play a lot of Grand Theft Auto multiplayer games. Some friends introduced me to a style of songs I hadn't heard before: Hip-Hop. Thanks to them, I ended up getting to know Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube.

But my interest really started to grow when I found a movie that caught my attention on Netflix. Its name was Explicit Lyrics or Straight Outta Compton, which told the story of how one of the most important groups in Hip-Hop history was formed.

One of the things that caught my attention was to see that well known artists like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy-E had been part of the same band before going solo. The story was quite impressive, how in an environment that was quite hostile to the Hip-Hop genre they managed to fill stages and drive the whole United States crazy.

The story also explored the decline of the group, which was when little by little the members were leaving the group. Thanks to that, we also had some pretty awesome throwbacks like Ice Cube with No Vaseline, Eazy-E with Real Muttafaking G and Dr. Dre with Fuck Wit Dre Day. Thanks to this group's story, I ended up digging deeper into the genre and getting to know artists I wouldn't have known otherwise.

N.W.A. was one of the pioneering and most influential gangsta rap groups in history, and one of the leading groups on the West Coast of the United States. The group consisted of Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr.Dre, Mc Ren and DJ Yella.

They achieved national success with their debut album Straight Outta Compton, released in 1988. This album included big hits such as Straight Outta Compton, Fuck Tha Police and Gangsta Gagsta. "Real Niggaz Don't Die" was released in 1991 and is part of the group's second album, Niggaz4Life. This album is notable for not featuring Ice Cube, as he had issues with the band's manager.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
