Hey guys ๐ for the past few days I have been busy with my work,I can't even have a time to post in ecency.Now the jobs has been done,so I will be posting regularly like always.Anyways, today I came to an idea ๐ก that I gonna post about one of our traditional musical instruments.
The xylophone,as the previous instrument post of mine ,Burmese Xylophone (แแแนแแแฌแธ)has passed down generations through generations.One of our ancient classical music instruments, before showing you what is the sound of it,I would like to talk about the instrument.
Burmese Xylophone (แแแนแแแฌแธ) is a reference in a treatise during the regin of ancient Myanmar (The era of BayinNaung)if you interested in Myanmar history you can also search about him in YouTube.Anyway "Pattala" Burmese Xylophone is used in a royal music court during the Naungyan Era.The pattala is similar to other southern Asian countries like Thailand and Cambodia.The Pattala was created by using twenty - four bamboo slats called (แแฝแแบ) or (แกแแถ) and suspended over a boat-shaped resonating chamber.Each slat has it's own unique sound and quite fascinating melody can be heard when it was played by using two padded mallets.More interesting about it was till this day the Pattata was used in ZatThabin, traditional musical festival and in traditional and let enjoyed together the beautiful melody of our traditional musical instrument"Pattala"
