Information can be a slippery slope.
We can all hear the same information, at the same time, and yet, we will walk away with totally different opinions.
That is because we all focus, decode, encode, interpret, and understand, the information coming at us differently.
We are also limited by our own biases and opinions.
Those differences impact our interpretation of what we see and hear.
Cultural differences, age differences, racial differences, differing life experiences, IQ, Peer Pressure, lifestyle, and so on.
Also, there are campaigns of propaganda, disinformation, misinformation, secret agendas, a focus on means or ends, power, influence, bias, discrimination, and again, it goes on, and on.
Humanity has done many egregious activities. Sometimes in secret. Sometimes it is the accepted Law of the Day.
That is the conundrum, it often takes decades, the comfort of obfuscation, until the "modern" population is willing to look at itself in the mirror.
Even then, there are many obstacles to overcome. Many uncomoftable truths that cannot be swallowed.
Slavery, Genocide, Institutional abuse, Sweatshops, Government atrocities, Medical crimes, Frauds, Lies ...
We know it all occurs. We frown upon those past behaviours, somehow believing that we are better than that.
And yet, we still have evidence of corruption, government misfeasance and malfeasance, criminal activity, police brutality random acts of violence, drug and alcohol problems, mental issues, institutional issues, Corporatism, Kleptocracy, debt problems, cost of living pressures, other vices that lead to negative outcomes.
Sometimes, the information can be overwhelming, daughnting, confronting. But at least there is information to synthesise.
And when the information is too confronting, too embarassing, too close to home, that is when censorship comes in to keep a lid on things. All for the public good, of couse.
Yet, when informaiton starts coming out, the baffled experts, those who may have unleashed more harm than good, come out with their current trending headlines.

But, we still cannot list a pressing number of concerning questions. Uncomfortable truths, that are being said in the hearts of people. As soon as something is said that, offends the ears? Or, challenges the status quo, then there are some who come to stifle what is said.
And, when one set of facts show that something is not quite right.
Then let the researchers find other facts to compare, breakdown, view a problem from many angles, and to find many possible solutions.
Is there a correlation between highly vaxxed countries and deaths? How are countries fairing who used alternative treatments?
I find it all very interesting.
I guess, it sort of maintains my, Optimistic Fatalist, approach.
Endeavour to do the little things you enjoy.
Time presses on.
