After a quick ten weeks of total grow time, the Fog OG autoflowering strain cannabis plant was harvested, then trimmed, dried, cured, and sampled.
Fog OG harvest
The Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant was harvested two weeks ago. It was hang dried for ten days with the fan leaves being snipped off in the first few days, then cured in an air tight glass jar for four days.

Auto flowering cannabis strains take only ten weeks from seedling to harvest. It's Ruderalis genetics, that has been crossed with indica and sativa strains, is accustomed to short growing seasons with long days.

This plant had the grow lights on 24 hours a day for optimal growth, although some say a couple hours of dark per day can be beneficial.
Trimming
The fan leaves are removed, preferably in the first couple days of hanging, because the buds get stickier as they dry.
Lifting the bud with the scissors if need be, it's usually easy enough to snip the fan leaves at the stem base. You can see the scissors gumming up with THC resin, the blackberry grape pine scent is extra sweet at this time, so nice.
I'll save the leaf trimmings for future hash making hash making, some of them got resin on them before they were trimmed.
Sweet the bud kabobs still have a few leaves on the stem side, they are easier to trim after the buds have been removed from the stems.
The stems I'll toss into the compost pile as a fibrous addition, the stems have the hemp fibers used for rope, textiles, and more.
Harvest Weighed
A smaller harvest with the ten week from sprout Fog OG autoflowering cannabis grow - almost an ounce, 27.36 grams total. As a comparison, the Pink Apricot clone had a total of seventeen weeks of growth with a 182.85 gram harvest. Autoflowering strains are fun for a quick variety grow, but overall regular cannabis indica/sativa strains that have vegetative growth time provide a lot more bud weight at harvest.

I have more of these Fog OG autoflowering seeds, I'll see if I can harvest more with the next quick grow. There may be other autoflowering strains that produce more, I'll eventually try a couple other varieties.
Jarred for air tight curing. After ten days of hanging, air drying, the outside of the buds are dryer than the centers. After a week in the air tight jar, the moisture content is equalized.
With the moisture and vegetative scent dried away, the buds are left with a sweet berry pine scent.
Light green, dark green, and amber bud colors with burt orange pistils, and a shimmering coating of trichomes.

The Feels
Eyelids quickly relax after a quick rush of the pine and citrus terpenes. Smooth euphoric body buzz, relaxing, but not too lazy - I'd smoke these buds in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
