Hello Music Lovers.
Welcome to this week's edition of #ttt initiated by @ablaze.
So many things happening around inspired me to share these tunes for this week, generally about life, people and hustle.
First of all, it's not easy to be an adult๐ข๐ข, I must commend all the effort we are putting in place to survive, pay bills and chase our dreams and in between we come in contact with different people, the real ones, the fake one, jealous ones, and those who truly mean well for you and even those who do not give a hoot about you.
Life is not easy, please.
So I'll begin this #ttt with A Ghanaian artist named LIBIANCA who wrote a song we all can relate to at one point in time in our lives.
This song is a very beautiful song which talks about the attitude of people in general.
Ever notice how people forget about you when the going gets tough? All of a sudden when you post a fine picture on social media, they are all over your DM, "Ha, you do forget me oo," "You dey enjoy oh" and the likes...
Not like they truly care about your welfare, have you ever been with a person at home or a friend and still feel lonely?
That's how selfish humans can be, always looking out for themselves and judging your every move, only a few rare ones will check up on you, funny how the living keep enmity with the living and cry over the dead. Crazy world indeed.๐ฉ
Here's a music from the Nigerian artist, Ayra star is a talented artist and I love this song so much because it talks about toxicity and how much we should never compromise our mental health and happiness for someone who's not worth it at all.
Here Ayra Star talks about how she wouldn't trade her peace of mind for anything in the world.
"Take away all your troubles and let me be.
We too should never let anyone mess with our mental health no matter how close that person is to us, if it wouldn't give us peace of mind please let it go.
I also love the video of the song so much, the creativity and the costume in general.
This song is a whole vibe๐คง๐คง, this song talks about the hustle of a Nigerian Adult.
Everyone looks up to you to be a backbone for them once you are an adult.
Nobody calls to check up on you, they expect you to be fine, they expect you to be there for them, but when you need them they are nowhere to be found.
Please, can we go back to when we were kids with little or no worries, we ate what we wanted, had fun, lived in peace and were just happy genuinely for each other.
Hello, I remember how much we all wanted to grow up and live an independent life, we are here now, We can't go back in time to be a child again, we have to face it, this adulthood is not an easy hood but we will survive.
Adulthood is all about being responsible for your actions and taking up other responsibilities, but it's hard when no one cares about you, maybe there's no evidence that you are working hard to survive the hood.
Is adulthood a scam or is it because the economy is hard or the fact that it gets lonely when we become adults?
I'll leave you to answer that.๐คง๐คง๐คง
This will be all for this week, and I hope you enjoyed my choice for this week.
