I have to write something, anything, everything I could possibly think of that would make this write up a success since after all that is what griding the system is all about. The ability to create something I can confidently say is an activity that has given good effort in all things to signify to myself effort is going to give me the achievement feeling. I have thought about not doing a piece today since my brain seems to be blank lately, is there something in the water here in the Philippines thats interacting with my brain waves. Or have I just caught the lazy bug affecting everyone around me. Ok not everyone is lazy but there are tons I see when I go out just going out of their way to now do anything.
Currently watching Naked and Afraid: Castaways, my thoughts are this show is not about survival but about entertainment so Bear Grylls off camera shenanigans seem to be in action. Three episodes in and one team already has god intervention of a live tree going down and the same team finding a very old bayonet but the blade looks being decent like it was sharpened only about 5 years prior. And I have just seen them use it and the thing is still hella sharp, under something in a damp environment for greater than 70 years, World War 2 era bayonet.
Drama. It's a killer ingredient in getting my attention. The one team tries to make a fire and spends about five minutes then gives up. LOL
Now I have paused for over an hour now since that has taken some time and attention and my brain was not stimulated it was just distracted with what ever drama does to the synapses.
Then this happened in between.
Sometimes my brain functions well but to a degree and it needs some sort of stimulus that last more than a few minutes, like 3 minutes.
There are times in a moment where the neurons really do fire like there is a bat on fire and no other avenue than to let the fingers run like a ultra sprinter then at the 100 meter mark expend everything. I so wish it were so the firing is like a blaze so big it can sustain itself like a hydrogen sun compressed into the tiny nuggin on top of my head. I will now end this with a thought for both you my reader and myself.
How can one increase the flow of creative juices without the intake of something else since I have heard good writers smoke cigarettes to get their brain into some kid of state or some use something else more potent to maintain the firing of said juices.
Ciao!
