I thought when I graduate on college, everything will become easier.
I thought I can have more money.
I thought I can do the things that I want.
I thought I can go to the place that I wanted to.
But everything seems different.
Now that I am here, I realized that there are more things to consider now, you have now more responsibilities, and you need to learn how to stand on your own.
When I was studying, I told myself that my goal is to experience living independently in an apartment.
I can cook on my own, I can design my room, and be more comfortable with my space.
I am experiencing it now.
But there is something that no one is telling you.
The rent and bills that you need to pay every month.
Cooking on your own after exhausting work.
And make a budget so you can pay all expenses while saving money.
In my case, I am still tracking my finances since I started working, in the next few weeks, I will need to pay for my rent and bills for the first time.
I am not excited about the bills, but I want to know how much would it be so I can estimate my monthly expenses.
I already have a budget for it but I hope I won’t be exceeding to that limit.
Before accepting the job, I already made some estimated budget using the salary offer, I included the government contributions, so I think I can still have some money for my savings and a little treat for myself each month.
