Today I wanted to go with an unfortunate theme for me late: posting gone awry!
When Posting Goes Awry
More often than not of late sadly, I tend to mess up my post scheduling! When I think I've got things set for a few days in a row, bam I mess it up lol.
There are worse things in life for sure than messing up a posting streak but for me, I'm almost going on 2 years of the posting streak I've got for Hive and I keep getting messed up lately, thankfully without missing a day yet but the day is bound to come! Lol.
I blamed it recently and I sadly will do it again. When I get into my Splinterlands mode and am doing well but then have a losing streak I tend to get quite frustrated at the game and that requires me to keep on going until I get back into better shape as far as wins versus losses is concerned.
Sadly I think this obsession might end up making me rethink Splinterlands, as the game is a lot of fun and the rewards are pretty good except that it's getting too intense lately and it's not good for me on many levels to get as frustrated as I am. That then leads down further paths I don't want to be on such as what I'm at right now, I missed a post to be scheduled! Lol. That's pretty annoying for sure for me, because I try to always have at least the following day's post scheduled otherwise I end up writing with less ability to think about what I want to say or convey and more on making sure I get it finished before I go to sleep.
I would like to think that this wouldn't be considered a shit post, because I do have a theme and it's posted in the Rant community, which I think fits it well (besides the fact that I own it :D). I guess it might not be "high-quality" for a post, but funny enough I just posted one yesterday that I put a whole lot of effort into from photos to writing and it's largely gone to the wayside lmao. That's life though, you win some, you lose some! Sadly I haven't even gotten a decent amount of comments on it, but I guess because I've been so fucking focused on Splinterlands that I have been neglecting my commenting duties here on Hive.
I guess it's just filled with excuses and they are lame ones indeed but I need to feel a little better about myself, by golly! If nothing else, I hope you guys enjoy some of the photos I've included here as they are ones that I've collected over time of being here on the blockchain and been out and about the places that I've been to.
I am hoping that I can get another couple posts written.. I have some that were scheduled further out than I realized and could have used them here, ah well lol too late now! :D
