If you ever get to visit Stellenbosch you should take a drive down Devon Valley Road. This is a beautiful place you shouldn't mis out on.
The picture up to I took on Le Verger when the previous owners were still there. The scenery changed since then but I'd still love to go live in that house.
Two of the more prominent places in the valley is JC Leroux Wines and the Devon Valley Hotel. If you look around a bit though you find hidden gems like the log cabin and Fransmans Huis.
I'll always go back to the valley because even inn winter it is a beautifull place to visit.
A couple of weeks ago I got robbed. A knife against the throat affair that cost me my phone and a bit of cash.
I had to choose between using everything I knew and changing the world a they know it permanently, possibly killing one or both, or pretending to be harmless and doing nothing unless they forced my hand. I opted for the latter.
What gets me is what you learn about yourself and the people closest to you after something like this.
The emotional scars I carry are not from two fools holding a knife against my throat and emptying my pockets. What changed me was finding out who would miss me when I'm gone and who would just miss what I brought home every month.
Life goes on.
Someone asked Nostradamus what he would suggest as a solution for the economical and political problems and ongoing wars since he had such a clear view of the future.
He answered in two words: plant trees. Then he added, no government will ever do that.
I appreciate your support.
Live life to the fullest.
