Sometimes you just have to come up for air. You just need to take a break. The regularly happens with me when I am writing. I can push out two pieces in a day, no problem. As the days goes on though, the pieces gets shorter, the quality gets lower. Then it gers to one piece. Then for days, nothing. My brain just stops.
Strange how your brain gets tired just like your muscles.
That is a proven scientific fact. It's something about how you remember and use what you remember. Thinking and remembering actually makes physical changes in your brain.
Every time your brain finds something new, your brain grows something like a little tentacle on a cell. This is the storage for the new information.
Every time your brain comes across the same information, the tentacle grows a little. This happens until it has grown into a little mushroom shaped tree. This is how your brain builds the pathways that allows you to do things.
We you use your brain it forms more little tentacles. This keeps on happening filling up space and making your brain work harder.
At night when you sleep a set of specialized cells starts checking the tentacles. The ones that are not often used, get discarded. The ones that are used dare kept to form the pathways you use.
This is a loose translation of what happens. The point is your brain, like your muscles, developes when you use it. It's a matter of use it or lose it.
In truth, you canmaje yourself stupid. Just stop reading, questioning and learning. It's as easy as that.
Now chew on that for a bit.
