Leaving your comfort zone for a better life is one hell of a decision to make. You might think I am not making sense by saying "Leaving your comfort zone for a better life"
Life during my higher institutions was hell for me as the place I lived had no water and electricity. Most time I had to charge my gadget with a generator light or I pay the solar man to help me get them charged. I graduated and I thought I was done with that kind of life, until recently.
The institution had released two senate lists of graduates who are meant to serve after our learning and this would take one year, I have checked my name several times on the list but nowhere to be found. I had to travel back to the countryside where my institute is located and in just a day that I spent at my residence there have been no light, the heat was so much and there was no water.
This was the entrance to my place, the place was getting bushy since the people that share the residence with me refused to clear it. I walked out of the gate and head toward the well
The more I stay here, I dislike the surrounding the more. I love the people I live with but I don't like the situation I find myself in. There are days the well gets dried up and this is mostly during the dry season, life at that time can be so tough, sometimes it would look like you're being cooked up inside your room. I can't wait to finish the assignment I have in this place and leave.
