Alright guys there we go, time for another rant! It is Sunday, I didn't get enough sleep, it is cloudy and I am doom scrolling into the abyss. Sure nothing useful comes out of this and that is the whole point out of it.

Learning how to propagate plants, how to adjust your sails, how to tweak your music settings. Those are the things you want to have fed to you on a day like this.
And yeah, I am saying fed to, because that is what the algo rhythm does, it feeds you stuff which it thinks that you need.
So why the algo thinks that I needs this kind of scam nonsense beats me and I am more than annoyed that nobody has stopped this crap as yet as it is getting out of control.
I am talking about all of these 'ads' which come in the form of small reels or videos to your feed which all say the same thing coming from a different account.
Watch some Tiktok videos (which I dont have so just bug off with this) and get rich in the mean time.
Telegram bots that make you watch videos. Sure I guess the only thing you have to do is enter all of your personal details and everything will be just fine.

Ow come on get real. This snap from a little video wants you to press 'more details' and then you can start earning. I guess the only one that will earn is the one behind this account. Not the poor soul pressing it.
Now I don't know what the endgame of this is. If they want your details to fumble around with, of if they want you to watch endless advertisements and never get any pay out of this.
I saw this other video from this Youtube dude who tried one of these scams and went for it, just to see what happens. I will spare you the watching time because the video is long but it is cool to get the gist out of this.
Go for it to learn more about the scams
First fart: Not 30 bucks for 3 minutes of your time. 2.50 in total for the whole day of watching. Nothing comes for freeeee.
Second fart: cash out threshold at least $70 bucks. Now that is already where you can sense that this is becoming a scam. When you need more than a lot of time, a lot can happen in between. But in that in between time, the scammer already stole your time...And you aint never getting that back
Third fart: All of a sudden the rewards are reclining. Not in the first week, not in the second. But later on...and because of this you will never reach your 70 bucks cash out place.
But in the mean time that you have been watching all of these ads, they are getting the ad revenue, and you are left over there crying in a corner with nothing.
It's all the same
And the build up of these are all the same. The accounts are faceless or AI generated. The voices are generated. The captions are exactly what chatGPT suggests on what you should write for the most engagement (just like a lot of Hive comments actually which I have been getting on previous posts...hmmmmm)
Generated, generated, generated. All cheesy, all fake, all showing big fake numbers on payouts, and all stealing your time and your data.
How is this still allowed. The interesting thing is that a lot of personal account of people get flagged because they are not in the rules and regulations of the platform. But this kind of nonsense can exist forever?
Or....is it just the case that there are so many of these accounts popping up that the flagging is too late every time?
I have no idea. But what I do know is when if you are a kid and trying to learn your way around in this, it can be sooooo easy to get scammed by these kinds of things.
Some people are most likely getting extremely rich from running these scams.
But it sure as hell aint you watching these videos! Stay safe, stay annoyed!
