🇪🇸 ~ Ugh, el lunes quería compartir un recorrido de los próximos proyectos D.I.Y que he estado preparando, la mayoría son de costura y quedan perfectos para celebrar "NeedleworkMonday", también hay un concurso interesante en la comunidad de DIYHUB que no me quiero perder, permite varias participaciones y la primera tenía programado publicarla ayer martes.
🇺🇸 ~ Ugh! On Monday, I wanted to share a tour of the upcoming DIY projects I've been preparing. Most of them are sewing projects, which are perfect for celebrating "Needlework Monday." There is also an interesting contest in the DIYHUB community that I don't want to miss. It allows for multiple entries, and I had scheduled the first one to publish yesterday, Tuesday.
Le estoy poniendo empeño a crear el hábito de escribir al menos 1 vez al día y creo voy bastante bien, he estado muy contenta con ese aspecto de mi rutina desde la semana pasada porque siento que encontré -feliz y saludablemente- la manera de hacer sostenible publicar 1 o 2 veces aquí (tema bonito para desarrollar en otro post).
I am trying hard to create the habit of writing at least once a day and I think I am doing quite well, I have been very happy with that aspect of my routine since last week because I feel that I found -happily and healthily- the way to make it sustainable to post 1 or 2 times here (nice topic to develop in another post).

¿Donde están esos lindos updates que ya tenía planificado?, desde hace 3 días mas o menos alguien esta tratando de acceder a mi cuenta de WhatsApp y a mi viejo perfil de FB. No es la primera vez que sucede, en 2023 y 2024 también recibía notificaciones de "alerta de seguridad", "se solicito el código de registro de...", y peticiones de restablecimiento de contraseña a mi correo principal que yo no pedí.
Where are those nice updates I had already planned?, for the last 3 days or so someone has been trying to access my WhatsApp account and my old FB profile. It's not the first time it's happened, in 2023 and 2024 I was also getting notifications of “security alert”, “registration code of... was requested”, and password reset requests to my main email which I didn't ask for.
En otro tiempo estas cosas las tomaba como coincidencias, simplemente alguien escribió un digito diferente a su propio número de teléfono y resulto coincidir con el mío, o quiza un antiguo dueño de estas líneas encontró su viejo chip y estaba intentando activarlo.
Once upon a time I took these things as coincidences, someone just typed in a different digit to their own phone number and it happened to match mine, or maybe a former owner of these lines found their old chip and was trying to activate it.
Pero en este caso es muy extraño porque yo utilizo números de teléfonos diferentes para distintos servicios, lo que quiere decir que quien esta tratando de tener acceso a mis cuentas, sabe cuál es mi número de trabajo y mi número personal; si es un intento de scam, está bastante automatizado como para conseguir ambos números que nada tiene que ver uno con el otro, ¿quizá la culpa es del sistema META por querer centralizar toda la información de sus usuarios, y fui un perfil más vendido a terceros?.
But in this case it is very strange because I use different phone numbers for different services, which means that whoever is trying to access my accounts, knows which is my work number and my personal number; if it is a scam attempt, it is automated enough to get both numbers that have nothing to do with each other. Maybe the fault is of the META system for wanting to centralize all the information of its users, and I was one more profile sold to third parties?.

En esta ocasión esos intentos de acceso con números distintos a servicios distintos fueron en intervalo de menos de 1 hora.
Desde ayer mis amigos me ayudan con recomendaciones extras de seguridad, aunque poco o nada comparto datos personales sensibles; también estoy haciendo respaldos, cambios de clave y más capas de seguridad.
On this occasion those access attempts with different numbers to different services were in an interval of less than 1 hour.
Since yesterday my friends have been helping me with extra security recommendations, although I do little or no sharing of sensitive personal data; I am also doing backups, password changes and more layers of security.

Este no es un tema que me perturbe especialmente, porque si se trata de alguna persona ociosa basta con revisar que todo este en orden en los apartados de seguridad.
Ahora si se trata de un sistema de estafas, me preocupa que mis datos se hayan filtrado de alguna forma, no lo se, a través de alguna app, quiza deba cambiar de navegador.
Fuera lo que fuera, esto es buen recordatorio de que nunca eres demasiado cuidadoso, que es mejor pasar por "exagerado" cuando se trata de cuidar tu espacio y tus datos personales.
This is not an issue that particularly disturbs me, because if it is an idle person it is enough to check that everything is in order in the security sections.
Now if it's a scam system, I'm worried that my data has been leaked somehow, I don't know, through some app, maybe I should change my browser.

In case you are wondering, yes, in Venezuela trying to access social networks or digital services (such as e-mail) of someone without their consent qualifies as "crime of improper access" and can carry from fines, to penalties of 1 to 5 years in prison, and may be aggravated if there is disclosure or dissemination of data or information obtained.
