You see, I've done my homework, I've studied the Hive Blockchain, and heck, I've crunched all the data crunchable! And frankly, the numbers show(don't take my word for it) that a staggering 80 percentage of people here who post on Hive, love to justify their post texts before they post it on the Blockchain.
Most often, you find that those 80% of Hivers consist of: fiction writers, article writers, travel bloggers, anybody with the last name kp, and essentially, anyone who's anyone that CARES ENOUGH FOR THEIR READER'S EYES!!!
The latter percentage of those other Hivers however, consist of people ranging from: ignorant or lazy nutters who may or may not know that they can make their post much more attractive and easier to read just by justifying it, all the way down to Hivers whom I suspect, suffer from a condition known as
Either way, it doesn't even really matter to what percentage of hivers you belong to! Because, the fact of the matter remains that HIVE posts look a whole lot better Justified! I'm pretty sure we can both agree on that part right? I mean, just look at how sexy this particular post looks for example? ᕦ(⏒ ε ⏒)ᕥ
Regardless, it all manages to comes back down to the same burning question: Why?
Goddmanit Hive! Do you know how stressful it is to ALWAYS have to type the code:
<div class="text-justify"> then </div>
Whenever you want to post something?
I mean, sure... I could always just copy it down somewhere and then easily paste to my draft anytime I want to make a post; but still!!! That's not the point I'm trying to make! This is a fucking rant so let me rant goddmanit!
And you wanna know what's much worse, the fact that this code has been burnt into my mind like some type of sick occultic encryption! And I'm not even exaggerating here, you could literally bump into me on the street, and ask for the justify code for Hive texts, and I would immediately blurt out the exact code to you — character by character — on command! Like some sort of sick cyborg terminator!
Honestly, at this point, I think I might just be a little addicted to using the justify code on my posts. FOR REAl!
Pleasantly enough, this whole shebang started from the very first moment a kind hiver from the writing club community, urged me to start justifying my posts. And you know what? I've never been the same ever since:
Ultimately, my point is — justify your posts so it would be a lot more attractive and easier for your audiences to read. It actually can improve the value of your posts.
And yeah, while we're on the topic of text and allignment, I just want to go on the record and say that it is of utmost importance and urgency that every multilingual and or multilingual posting Hivers, should stop translating their posts in this manner:
Argh! You know what I mean with these kinda post formats?
But don't get me wrong though, I absolutely have no problem with multilingual posts. Heck, I even do it myself! Because i feel it is a good way for Hivers all around the world, to break the barriers of language diversity, and explore new ways to interact/engage with each other.
What's that old quote by Nelson Mandela again?
Thank you DeepL
Alas, I just can't stand it when the posts and translations are aligned that way!!! Frankly, when I see posts like that, i often just skip because my eyes simply can't take reading a text that has been conjoint to one side of the screen. I don't know if that make sense lol... Just my opinion.
Oh well, what can you do...
Ahh... Sometimes I find myself sitting for hours on the toilet and pondering for a ridiculous amount of time:
Oh shit, I almost forgot this rant!
It starts with me writing a review for the movie Cannibal Holocaust, then gradually proceeds to the point where I've already mocked up about 900 - 1000 words worth of reviewing content. Soon, it proceeds to me realizing that I made a mistake somewhere in the first paragraph, which in turn leads to me copying said paragraph with the intention of wanting to cut it out.
Alas, because of some unknown reason of the universe, my hands accidentally click the:
Select all
option instead. And in a twinkle of an eye, I watch my entire Hive posts fade away from existence... 🙂
Now, what's my point here exactly? Well, it's simple. Why doesn't Hive have an undo and redo button when it comes to creating your posts? I mean, it just seems like such a convenient option to have right? So why don't we have that option available then!!!☹️
Speaking for my mobile self though, because I don't know if that option is available to PC users.
Nevertheless, that same burning question is asked once more:
