Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing great. Here I am again and will share my experience earlier.
Every Friday is market day here in Alcantara. Alcantara is a town before Moalboal. I'm used to buying vegetables here every Friday because the prices are relatively low because many vendors come from the mountains and only sell their crops. So on Fridays, I go here because besides the fresh vegetables and I also save money.
When I got there I asked how much the chayote was. Chayote was the first to catch my attention. And the vendor answered that 8 php per chayote and if you buy three it's only 20 php. So I save 4 php so I bought three pieces. And when I was about to pay, I was surprised when I looked in my bag and my wallet was gone, fortunately, there were 500 stuck on the back of my cellphone. And I have no choice I have to budget that 500php and I don't want to go home without vegetables. Even though even if Im busy finding cheap vegetables I am thinking about where my wallet was I didn't think too much bad. I am still positive that my wallet is in the house even if I am worried. I had a mix of emotions earlier in the market.
And I also bought two pieces of
cabbage for 15php.
And I also bought carrots 5 pcs for 20php.
And the assorted vegetables in plastic 1/2 kilo for 25php.
And also mongo sprouts 1/2 kilo for 20php.
And a kilo of beans is a bit pricey because they only harvest a small amount and it is 75php a kilo.
And for the red onions, I bought four pieces 17php and 1/2 kilo garlic 50php.
After shopping for vegetables, I immediately went home to check where my wallet was. And when I got home, I left it on the kitchen table. I also remembered that my daughter asked for 50php before going to school and I forgot to put it in the bag.
Because of my stupidity, I didn't buy pork meat and chicken but I was still lucky because someone sold shrimp. And I bought a bag containing almost 500 grams for 130php. And I rarely buy shrimp because they are quite expensive in the market. I'm happy because I have shrimps to add to the vegetables I bought and I'm sure my daughter will be happy with shrimp because it's her favorite. And another thing I was happy about was that when I counted what I spent, it didn't reach 500.
That's all about what happened to my Friday. It was fun and a little worrying but the time still saved me. And the lesson I learned today is always checking our bags before we go.
How was your experience today? Is it fun?
Thank you for reading my blog today.
Bye🤗🤗
