Hello Market goers, how are you on this Friday? I dab into this community for the first time, #marketfriday thank you @dswigle for a great day to share something.
For those of you in the United States I'm sure you know of the Dollar Tree store. The name of the store reveals the price of what almost all goods are sold for. Due to inflation, the store basically sells everything for just $1.25. It use to be just a $1.00, but how long can a store maintain that low of a cost?
What brought me to the Dollar Tree store? Well I broke my reading glasses and needed to pick up some new ones. At a price of $1.25 a piece where can I go wrong?
It really does have the feeling of bargain shopping. I just needed one thing but that's not stopping me from looking around. Let me you show you some of things sold at this store.
There is a large assortment of candy at this store. My favorites are the movie style boxes you see at the theater. I can tell you I have bought plenty of these in the past and sneaked them in theaters via a girlfriend's purse. I haven't been to a movie in awhile but if my memory serves me right they are like $3.50 or more.
Next I find an assortment of dishes, glasses, cups, mugs, and bowls. I'm not saying these items are fine dining quality but they can certainly be used for everyday use. I have bought these items in the past to use when I go camping.
Groceries are also available at these stores. Dry foods, refrigerated, and even some freezer items. Some items can be purchased at quite a discount price compared to shopping at the normal grocery store. Surprising there are a lot of brand named items. Not all items as some are generic brands.
Have a children's party to throw? They have party favors, gift bags and cards to choose from. Why go somewhere else when you might find most of your needs here for cheaper. Plus they usually only get used once anyways.

Cleaning supplies, toiletries, and more are available. While a lot of the cleaning supplies and toiletries may be of smaller size they are still at a bargain price per quantity. A great place to pick up toiletries if your going somewhere for a few days.
A few home decors items never hurts anybody. They usually have seasonal stuff based on the holidays. So if your looking to decorate check here first to save some money.
So above is all what I bought today. I got two pairs of reading glasses, can't have too many of them. I bought a Mason jar because I have an article idea for it. The coffee mug well I need a smaller cup, I need to cut back. The heath bars well that's for my sweet tooth, lol. Five items @ $1.25 for a total with tax of $6.60. You can't beat that considering a cheap lunch at a fast food place here will run $10. I walked the store with no cart or basket because I didn't want to feel tempted, lol.
I will say I shop more than the typical guy. So there will be another time and place, I will return. Please take care, be safe, and have a great weekend :)
