When we last parted, it was 4pm on a beautiful London day! The sun was just getting lower on the horizon and basking everything in that special glow! We made our way for the Tower of London, and the beautiful Tower Bridge!

The sky just kept becoming more and more remarkable! I love when the sun bursts through the clouds like this! It makes for the BEST pictures! Here we are approaching the Tower Bridge and walking alongside the Tower of London!

Right beside the Tower of London, you can see just how ornate and beautiful it is. To me, it just looks like yet another gorgeous castle of England! hehe

And now - you can see the back of it as we say goodbye and cross to the Tower Bridge!

We got several pictures on the Bridge, but - they didn't really capture the whole feel. It was hard to do that - so... this one will just have to do with it behind us!

Next, it was time to head over to the Prime Meridian! We were really intent on getting all over London in one day! well - as much as we could! hehehe So it was necessary for us to take the train again! and I just loved chatting with my friends or catching them mid-conversation and simply enjoying the day! hehe

Here we are at the Royal Observatory and overlooking Greenwich park with London in the background. That is a TREE behind my head! not a tuft of stray frizzy hairs! hahahahahahaha

Here Sam and I are posing beside the Shepherd Gate Clock. And you know, we probably would have found out why it was called the Shepherd Gate Clock but - in order to go inside, you needed to pay for admission. hehe And all I really wanted to do was stand on the meridian line! (cuz I was hungry and getting pretty near done walking.. we had walked all day!! hahaha) So - we grabbed a picture, and looked through the gates and said. "Oh look - its the Prime Meridian" LOLOL and then headed out to dinner!!!

A cool shot of the Shepherd Gate clock again. Ok, as I typed that, I was overtaken by curiosity! I just googled why it was called that! And nope - it has nothing to do with sheep! The man who installed the first electric clock system? His last name was Shepherd! go figure! hahaha

After dinner, we took the train again - and then walked a bit until we got to the theatre! Know what I love most about this picture? I didn't even notice it when I snapped the shot, but when I uploaded I saw that the reflective line on Pen's bag picked up all the green lighting everywhere! hahahaha He was ready for WICKED!!!

The sign says "Defying Gravity" since 2006! heheh This was my SEVENTH time seeing this play! LOL I guess you can say I'm a huge fan! You would be correct! I've seen it multiple times in LA, once in Central Cali - and now in London! I have to say, the American actresses definitely play up the parts a bit more. In London, they seemed more reserved, and rushed through the jokes a bit more. But did I mind so much? Nope! Because I had been waiting for Sam to see this for a while!! and now she was treating ME to see it with her! So, I soaked it up, with my two friends by my side! hehe

If those two characters don't look familiar, they are the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good. This play is the "back story" of how the Wizard of Oz came to be! I love it because it flips everything you thought you knew about that story and makes it so relevant!!! If you haven't ever seen it, I highly recommend!!

They are ready- but I AM GIDDY with excitement!!! I really could not WAIT for this play to begin!!! hehehe This theater was shaped really cool also - it was angled so that everyone seemed to be in a great place to see the show! That was great for visuals, but it did hamper the audio a bit. There were times when we all thought the sound was muffled, and a bit unclear - I wonder if that had to do with the shape and acoustics. But fun? exciting? happy? yes yes and yes!

By the time we got out of the theatre and made our way to the train - we had just missed the last frequent train and needed to so wait about an hour for the next one. It was late, so the stores were all closed, except for a little mini-supermarket! We headed over there, and got some stuff for a midnight picnic! hahaha Our train was there, just sitting and waiting to take off for its next destination with a load of passengers - so we got on, picked seats with a table, and then ate!
About 10 minutes later, an older couple came on and started chatting with us! They were so fun! They asked us where we were from and what we were doing! (Obviously with our accents, they knew we were from all over! hehe) When we told them about @DreemPort and #Hive, they said it sounded like we had very adventurous lives! hahaha (we agreed!) They asked a bit about crypto and blogging - hehehe It would be so fun someday if they found their way here and reminded us where we met them!!! Maybe one day!
This concludes our day of London! hehehe More days coming up - but in other parts of UK! hehehe Thanks for sticking through the whole thing!!! Join me next week to see where we end up next! ❤️
