Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. Now, our world is on the verge of a Population Explosion. Either some countries were putting limitations and punishments to control overpopulation, or they were making policies, and the birth rate remained uncontrollable. Overpopulation is an issue in many countries that is indirectly linked with many other problems. Like more people need more space and we have to cut more trees to make shelters. When the number of trees is reduced then, air pollution and acid rain become worse. Hence, different nations should understand the impacts of overpopulation on the world. For this purpose, different countries have different strategies.
Birth Control Methods
According to people's priorities and Hygiene Conditions, different people adopt different birth control methods. Some of these methods are described here.
- Natural Methods like Withdrawal or Menstrual Period Manipulation
- Hormonal Methods Like Birth Pills
- Barrier Methods Like Protection
- Surgical Methods like Vasectomies
All these birth control methods are adopted by different people at different stages of life. All of these have health Advantages and Disadvantages. Birth control is still the most well-scattered topic in many nations.
Cultural Views for Birth Control In Pakistan
I belong to Pakistan where most of the people are Muslim. They follow the traditional methods and rites in everything. Like other countries, Pakistan is also facing overpopulation issues. To make people aware of its adverse effects, our government is making effective policies. It provides training and educates people about different methods of Birth Control. In Covid, there was a record increase in Population, which is an alarming situation. If I see my religion, Islam, then it is a sin if someone controls the birth rate by his or her willingness. If I see natural resources and the effects of the Population Explosion, then I like and want to preach to people about different birth control methods. In reality, Pakistanis didn't believe in any birth control methods and thought that it was their right to produce as many kids as they could. As Pakistan is an Islamic Country hence, our government respects and likes religious aspects. Hence, it failed to control birth control methods.
My Perspective
Although I believe in the Survival of the fittest Rule, we should give rise to kids so that we can grow better. For example, if we are striving for hunger then there is no need to bring another kid to face the same situation. Hence, I like Birth Control Methods. I like the kid mentality after marriage life instead of giving birth to many kids that are too hard to grow well. I like and respect my religious aspects but I can't leave my kids facing hunger and starvation when I can't support them financially. Most Pakistanis adopt Barriers and Natural Methods to control the birth rate, which is a good sign. I have not seen anyone who has done Vasectomy here. In the Future, I hope that Pakistanis will see Surgical Methods, but its post-operative complexities are vulnerable.
