There is now a more exposed reality to these mental health issues and I am very excited about the exposure but there is still so much more about mental health that we need to be really exposed to. Serotonin: This is a neurotransmitter that helps with the regulation of mood and social behavior, it also helps with digestion, appetite, sleep memory, and the function of sexual desires. When this neurotransmitter is too little, it is related to anxiety, depression, anxiety disorders, and obsessive actions and thoughts.

Mental health problems can affect anyone whether you are black or white, regardless of race, age, economic or social class.
