It is not the end of the world, not even a continental disaster, but it is large enough to incinerate an entire large city, because what is also disturbing about this asteroid is which has not only been recently discovered, but will pass on June 29 between the Earth and the Moon about 290,000 km from us.

There is no risk that 2024 MK whose trajectory is this will impact the Earth at least in the next 10 years, although more calculations still need to be made about its trajectory, in the longer term the more data we can obtain. It would be necessary to see where this asteroid is going to go, as I usually say, the large asteroids, those measured in kilometers, are practically all controlled, but there are still many small and medium-sized ones like this one, which have not yet been discovered, so it would be necessary to have a planetary defense system.
