Every part of your body is susceptible to cancer. We can have cancer of the skin, the nails, the intestine, liver, kidney, brain, bone, and even blood but that’s not all about cancer, we can have cancer in the ovaries which is the organ in the body responsible for storing eggs, releasing and regulating hormones. The ovaries is an organ that when taken over by cancer can spread to other parts of the internal organ, so there are possible signs that one can experience when there is cancer in the ovaries and the earlier it is spotted and taken care off, the better it is for ones health.
If you are male reading this post, welcome. I am certain you are going to learn a lot especially for the purpose of education but if you are a female, this is for you because you are the one who is going to be able to identify these signs first hand. That’s said, let’s get into the deal of the day.
I mentioned that this post will be needed by the feminine gender first hand because if you are a female and you have ovaries, you are at a chance of having ovarian cancer. Asides being a woman which is the first ticket to possibly auffering from ovarian cancer, age is another factor as women who grow older are likely to suffer from it. People with genes that are liable of getting cancer are also at high risk of ovarian cancer. People who have been diagnosed for a certain type of cancer such as breast cancer or any other type are at a high risk of having ovarian cancer.
As a woman, if you notice swelling in your stomach or bloating of the stomach, then it is a big red flag for you to visit the hospital. Why do you need aomeone to tell you to visit the hospital as a results of continuous bloating or swelling of the stomach? But either ways, if you notice that you get full very easily maybe just after two spoons and your stomach is swollen then you need to visit the hospital for checkup.
Asides eating very little, if all of a sudden you begin to urinate frequently, then there is a problem. Asides urination being a sign of diabetes, it could also be a sign of a cancer in the ovaries or a sign of any other condition in the body. One sign could be pointing to different things but for the cancer or tumor in the ovaries, it could be that the mass of the cancer is already putting pressure on the bladder leading to more frequent urination compared to normal.
Your stomach might not swell or you might not feel bloating rather you feel pain in your stomach and your pelvic region. This is another sign that there is something wrong in the lower abdominal part of your body and your ovaries are not an exception. Along with the pain, difficulty to use the toilet in the form of constipation or diarrhea is another sign to check out for so you can go to the hospital very fast.
With all this, there is no way you won’t feel tired every time so if you are constantly tired even when you didn’t do anything, then you also need to visit the doctor’s office. I am not talking about feeling tired after a long day at work, i am referring to feeling tired after sleeping for a long time for no reason ot you fee tired after doing something that shouldn’t be energy draining. If you feel this way, then it could be a sign that the body is expending energy on something else which could be fighting a tumor.
It is true that we preach against weight gain but if you are experiencing weight loss without even trying to lose weight, then it is a sign that should not be neglected. I am not saying people who are not fat genetically, i am talking about those people who wouldn’t try any weight loss routine but lose weight drastically.
The symptoms and signs I have mentioned can be easily misinterpreted for other things like ulcer, gas in the stomach, routine stomach ache (like I haven’t heard that before but aome people might have it) and so on but onces these symptoms and signs continue for an extended period of time, then you just need to visit the doctors for clarity. If you decide to stay silent you would end up being a guest at your own funeral but the earlier you detect it, the better because cancer can be treated if detected early.
