My cat always chases this lizard. Now it seems the lizard has traped her in stone.
I once even had to take a live lizard out of her mouth when she first came to us and i was walking her in the backyard...it was the first aninal I saw her catch. Had to make her give it up tho, caught her mouth just in time lol it was fine and ran away. Felt bad about stopping her hunting.
Lots of alligator lizards here right now. But not as much as that reptile house at the san diego zoo, where i was once brought back stage dueing our school trip, to be educated about dmt and the thid eye pineal gland and Tuatara's by some weird zookeper guy who seemed to live in the center of this reptile house place taking care of loke hundreds of reptiles
He would scare all the kids and tell us we could all die if we clowned around while he was handling and passing around venomous snakes. I remember some other zookeeper specifically said the whole "ok your scaring the children bob" thing .
I think he was just trying to get us into drugs tho since now i see why he was yapping so much about the "third eye" and how the tuatara has one that can detect light, and i even think ge refrenced rick strassman and dmt and acted like he was sooo smart... he was a real weirdo. Probly an aol chatroom member.
see back in the 90s the gen X ers who were older family members or teachers etc had this attitude that they were just so much more experienced and intelligent than you and that you couldn't possibly understand the books they read
"Well i can read the books and tell you what they say too" - burt krieschner
