Hola amigos! que placer saludarles una vez más!

Generalmente al pensar en mascotas, inmediatamente nos imaginamos a un perro, un gato o incluso un conejo, sin embargo, aqui donde yo vivo tienen como mascotas a unas especies bastante diferentes y quiero que las conozcan.

Hoy les mostraré algunas imagenes muy especiales de unas aves exóticas con las que tengo el placer de convivir a diario. Donde trabajo hay una laguna artificial donde nadan tres cisnes negros, un pato mandarín y cuatro gansos. Es realmente emocionante verlos pues es la primera ves que veo en persona a algún cisne o pato mandarín.

Usually when we think of pets, we immediately imagine a dog, a cat or even a rabbit, however, here where I live we have some very different species as pets and I want you to meet them.

Today I will show you some very special images of some exotic birds that I have the pleasure of living with on a daily basis. Where I work there is an artificial pond where three black swans, a mandarin duck and four geese swim. It is really exciting to see them because it is the first time I see a swan or a mandarin duck in person.

Como ya les mecioné, son tres cisnes negros los que se la mantienen acá, sin embargo, dos de ellos siempre se la pasan juntos y el tercero ando solo, la verdad no se por qué, quizás se trate de una pareja y un cisne soltero jeje.

Algo interesante de ellos es que pueden nadar por mucho rato sin cansarse, balarse, pasearse por toda la laguna y salir de ella muy tranquilamente, disfrutan haciendolo y nosotros disfrutamos viendolos.

Junto con ellos tambien pudimos observar a un patito muy pequeño y resaltante por su variedad decolores vivos, es realmente hermoso. sin embargo no pude tomarle una buena foto, porque es muy nervioso y no se acerca mucho. Anteriormente tenia su pareja, pero fue victima de la "naturaleza" y ahora tiene que andar solito.

As I already mentioned, there are three black swans that stay here, however, two of them always stay together and the third one is alone, I don't really know why, maybe it is a couple and a single swan hehe.

Something interesting about them is that they can swim for a long time without getting tired, they bleat, walk around the lagoon and come out of it very calmly, they enjoy doing it and we enjoy watching them.

Along with them we could also observe a very small duckling with a variety of bright colors, it is really beautiful, however I could not take a good picture of it, because it is very nervous and does not come very close. Previously he had his mate, but he was a victim of "nature" and now he has to walk alone.

Hay dos gansos blancos y dos gansos pintados, me imagino que son dos casales. estos siempre estan juntos, nunca se separan, van a todas partes como una manada unida, tambien son una especie algo arisca pues, no he podido acercarme demasiado a ellos porque se alejan.

There are two white geese and two painted geese, I imagine that they are two geese. they are always together, they never separate, they go everywhere as a united flock, they are also a somewhat surly species, I have not been able to get too close to them because they move away.

Y volvamos con los cisnes de pico rojo, nos les habia mencionado ese detalle. Algo que tienen en comun estos animales, es que cuando les echamos comida a los peces, estos vienen a comerse la comida de ellos, como si fuera para ellos. En realidad ellos comen maiz picado que les echamos de manera independiente. Pero no importa, esta es una oportunidad para verlos más de cerca.

And let's go back to the red-billed swans, I had not mentioned that detail. One thing these animals have in common is that when we feed the fish, they come and eat their food, as if it were for them. They actually eat the chopped corn that we feed them independently. But no matter, this is an opportunity to get a closer look at them.
