Winona, the life of a rescued kitten // Winona, la vida de una gatita rescatada.🐱[ENG-ESP]
Hello dear pets community. Today I want to tell you some details of the story of a kitten that was rescued and that today, thanks to the kindness of a family, has a home, is cared for with love and is loved.
In the street of the area where one lives, there are always children who go out to play in the afternoons and sometimes one observes how they get some little animal and they make them their center of attention and games, almost always they are very rough, sometimes even cruel and they throw them, they hit them, others perhaps dare to touch them with affection. A kitten abandoned to its fate and aimlessly crossed their path, that of these very naughty children that when they see it, with curiosity they approached it and began to do mischief to the kitten, to the point of being very cruel. They threw her to the roofs of the houses while they sang the phrase of a well-known song: "the flying cat". Not only was that enough, but they burned part of her face and removed her whiskers, so you can imagine the suffering of this kitten. When in one of those moments she was thrown to the roof, the immobile kitten, fearful and scared, did not stop crying for so much evil that had been done to her, a neighbor heard her and saw that others were aware of the situation and among several decided to help her, some looked for a ladder, while others got on it to help her and lower her from the roof. She was so terrified that she would not let herself be grabbed, and rightly so. They insisted so much that they finally managed to grab her...they still don't know what sex she is...they gave her food, they saw the situation in which she was malnourished and now with her face burned. One of the neighbors who already has other kittens and dogs, said: "I am going to take care of her until she gets out of this painful situation" and in the end she ended up getting attached to her and adopts her. He takes her to the vet to be examined and give her the help she needs. He sent her vitamins, dewormer and of course her good food. Here is a picture of her after she was taken to the doctor and is recovering.
Hola querida comunidad pets.
On that visit to the vet they found out she was a female and named her "Winona". She would become part of the family. Wino" (as she is affectionately called) had a hard time adapting to the other family pets, but little by little she was able to coexist peacefully with them, including dogs. During the visit to the vet, they also found out that due to the fact that part of her face was burned, she would be left with respiratory problems for the rest of her life. With a lot of sadness for her, they began to take care of her with love and affection...it has been 3 years now. Then with time she gained confidence, but marked by what she suffered, she didn't let herself be touched or caressed so much, although she could be less anguished with all the attention, and like any "kitty" she began to relax.
After some time, with more enconfinaza in her, she started to leave the house and came back, and at one point her owners started to see what was strange and noticed that her belly was growing...and yes, they confirmed it: she was pregnant.
It was her only birth, because later she was sterilized, she gave birth to 4 cute kittens, she took care of them with care, she even shared them without any fear with the other pets in the house, as it was with her friend Osito.
I can tell you that her 4 babies have been put up for adoption and will not have the same fate as she did when she was little, they are well taken care of. Now to Wino, due to the fact that she was left with the remains of her ovaries when she was spayed, she has sudden changes in temperament and when she is hungry and does not see her owners preparing something for her, she starts to go on strike, hahaha, she climbs on the furniture, scratches the legs of the chairs, jumps and runs from one side to the other. She gets upset that the owner knows and reprimands her, but at the same time she understands the reason for her behavior. I have seen her in her bad moments, hahaha more funny.
To everyone's delight, Winona's life has changed, thanks to the fact that she got someone to adopt her and show her affection...she is spoiled. Oh! and he already weighs almost 4 kilos!. I have seen her owner's treatment with her, she is very loving, tender and the best for her: her little fish, her cat, her pillow to sleep and so on. It is good that there are still people who are willing to care for and love street animals that are suffering and want a home. I hope you liked this sweet story. The photos are my property. I say goodbye thanking those who take the time to read this post. ❤️Happy day to all of you❤️.
