Meet "Fluffy"
Hello, Hive! Here's our new cuddly, Fluffy. She is a 6-month-old Turkish Angora that we got last January. This was a planned adoption from way back in October last year. My friend said she has a cat that recently gave birth, and she's looking for families to adopt the kittens. She was to give the kittens away after 3 months when the kittens wean from their mom.
She's already grown so much from when we got her compared to these photos. I did not want to share her photos here in the community until I get some decent shots and I hope these ones are worth them.
What's with the name?
There were a lot of discussions before we came up with her name. Actually, the kids gave her her name. "Fluffy". Errrmm, can we be more creative on this? I suggested several names that were outright voted out. Hang on... has it been that long? I already forgot what those names were!
Anyhow, here's a name I suggested that finally got heard -- "Tori". Nice eh?
But there was a condition - it was just a second name.
Hence, her name is "FLUFFY TORI". More commonly called, Fluffy. Lol. You see, I'm just the one who calls her Tori. Haha.
One Chill Kitten
Fluffy, like most cats, just sleeps most of the day. Sometimes, she would get up the cabinets to perhaps get a better perspective of her territory, but she's not a bother at all.
She is mostly quiet, too. She seldom "meows". Only when she wants to relay that she wants food (I think).
Fluffy loves to be inside boxes. Or wardrobes. Or bags. Anytime she gets a chance, she takes it.
Need to work? Yes, she'll sit right where you are working. Don't get up from your chair coz she'll pretty soon take over the seat. She'd unabashingly trot on top of your laptop keyboard. Such a queen.
What I love about her are her eyes. They look so kind and innocent. Every one at home adores her. Even my mom back in PH is always asking that we send Fluffy over. Somehow, Fluffy reminds her of Max, my cat from many years ago that I also brought home to the Philippines from Abu Dhabi.
Fluffy is the new baby in the family. We go "ssssshhhhhh!" when she's sleeping. We wouldn't want to disturb the queen, would we?
