Hello friends of Hive!😃. Today I want to introduce you to Chaplin, my cat. I want to tell you the story of how he came into our life and why we decided to call him this way, although you only need to see him to know it. Check him out:
When we adopted him, he wasn't really for us, he was given to my mother-in-law, but due to her moving circumstances, she couldn't take him with her. To begin with, I want to tell you that the first night with him was a challenge, because he was a kitten just a few months old and had never slept alone, so he spent all night tearing the door of our room and cried for us to let him in, it was a real challenge, It was one o'clock in the morning and that cat did not get tired of tearing the door, it was so much insistence that there was no other way, my wife had to go to sleep on a mat in the living room and the kitty did not hesitate for a second to snuggle with her, that was what he wanted. Hahaha
From the beginning I could tell that when he grew up he was going to be intense and spoiled, and he was. It took a few nights before we gradually got him used to sleeping in the living room, but only of course.
He is a kitten that has never liked to obey, but what cat likes to do it, we have to live under his own rules in the house, he can not be tamed, you can not tell him where to do his business and much less you can tell him where to drink water, but even so he is the second spoiled of the house (the first one is the baby).
He sleeps wherever he wants and the sheets and quilts are his favorite places and every time he can he sleeps there, I say every time he can, because he is forbidden to enter the room, although I think he is getting used to sleep in his designated place (forced of course).
Having a kitten in the house is, in my opinion, an excellent pet because it helps to eliminate stress, it makes our day and for the baby it is a great ally. I say "ally" because when we scold him for sleeping where he shouldn't or eating something he shouldn't, he seeks refuge in the baby who defends him, gives us a lot of laughter and that's how we get over the annoyance.
And well we decided to name him Chaplin because he looked like the iconic and incomparable Charles Chaplin, with his eyebrows and whiskers characteristic of the artist, at the beginning he was called lololo but we considered that this name did not do justice to him, because a cat as interesting as him should have an equally interesting name.
To conclude I must say that the cat family got bigger when we moved to a house near the previous one, where the former tenants left a cat named quesito, and well we adopted him, so the house came with a cat included and as expected, Chaplin did not take long to show his character and make clear who is in charge, but the good thing is that quesito is very docile and affectionate, nothing like Chaplin, although they got used to each other, they found between them a companion for mischief. I hope you like my kitty as much as I do, and I want to point out that, although there are two cats in the house, the king will always be Chaplin.

Hola amigos de Hive!😃. Hoy quiero presentarles a Chaplin, mi gato. Quiero contarles la historia de cómo llego a nuestra vida y de porque se nos ocurrió llamarlo así, aunque solo basta con verlo para saberlo. Mírenlo:
Cuando lo adoptamos en realidad no era para nosotros, se lo regalaron a mi suegra, pero por circunstancias de mudanza de ella, no se lo pudo llevar. Para empezar, quiero decirles que la primera noche con él fue todo un reto, pues era un gatito de apenas unos meses y nunca había dormido solo, así que paso toda la noche rasgando la puerta de nuestra habitación y lloraba para que lo dejáramos pasar, fue todo un reto de verdad, eran la una de la mañana y ese gato no se cansaba de rasgar la puerta, fue tanta la insistencia que no quedo de otra, mi esposa tuvo que irse a dormir en una colchoneta a la sala y el minino no dudo un segundo en acurrucarse con ella, eso era lo que él quería. Jajaja
Desde el principio se notaba que de grande iba a ser intenso y consentido, y así fue. Pasaron algunas noches hasta que poco a poco lo acostumbramos a dormir en la sala, pero sólo claro está.
Es un gatito que nunca le ha gustado obedecer, pero ¿a qué gato le gusta hacerlo?, nosotros tenemos que vivir bajo sus propias reglas en la casa, no se le puede domesticar, no se le puede indicar dónde hacer sus necesidades y mucho menos se le puede decir donde tomar agua, pero aun así es el segundo consentido de la casa (el primero es él bebe).
Duerme donde quiera y las sabanas y los edredones son sus lugares favoritos y cada que puede se duerme allí, digo cada que puede, porque tiene prohibido entrar al cuarto, aunque yo creo que ya se está acostumbrando a dormir en su lugar destinado (obligado claro).
Tener un gatito en la casa es a mi parecer, una excelente mascota pues contribuye a eliminar el estrés, nos alegra el día y para el bebe es un gran aliado. Digo aliado porque cuando lo regañamos por estar durmiendo donde no debe o comerse algo que no debía, él busca refugio en el bebe que lo defiende, da mucha risa y así se nos pasa la molestia.
Y bueno nosotros decidimos poner el nombre de Chaplin pues a nosotros se nos hizo parecido al icónico e inigualable charles Chaplin, con sus ceja y bigotes característicos del artista, al principio se llamaba lololo pero consideramos que ese nombre no le hacía justica, pues un gato tan interesante como él debía tener un nombre igualmente de interesante.
Para concluir debo decir que la familia gatuna se agrando cuando nos mudamos a una casa cerca de la anterior, donde los antiguos inquilinos dejaron un gato llamado quesito, y bueno lo adoptamos, así que la casa vino con gato incluido y como era de esperase , Chaplin no tardo en mostrar su carácter y dejar claro quién es el que manda, pero lo bueno es que quesito es muy dócil y cariñoso, nada como Chaplin, aunque ya se acostumbraron el uno al otro, encontraron entre ellos un compañero de travesuras. Espero que les guste mi gatito tanto como a mí, y quiero acotar que, aunque hay dos gatos en la casa, el rey siempre será Chaplin.
