Good day everyone, It was another day to live life to the fullest.
Last Monday was immunization day for my babies. It was their third time and we were getting ready for it. I woke up early to prepare so I could finish early. Of course, my husband's first, getting ready on his uniform and food. After that, I cleaned all their mess, washed all their mats and rugs, mopped the floor, and cleaned their cage. I also took them a bath cause after immunization it takes seven days before their next bath.

I also cleaned myself and got ready to go but since it was not yet payday I went to Cebuana Lhuillier to pawn my earrings so I could have money to pay for the doctor. This is my choice taking care of fur babies is a responsibility. We have to find ways for their health just like having babies of our own. After all, It makes me happy and fulfilled.
At the pawnshop
When I arrived from the pawnshop I let them eat snacks and take their daily vitamins. Clean their ears and groom them before going to the doctor. Good thing Queen is with me to help. I bought a carrier for each one of them for easy carry whenever we go. So we put them on their carrier and off we go to the vet.

Off to the vet
I can't believe they already reached four kilos, this month they will turn four months also. We were the only patients in the clinic, the vet gave them tablets for deworming and told me that the dosage that they would give for immunization was much higher than before. The last time they gave was only 5 in 1 but this time it was 8 in 1. The puppies are behaving themselves, for sure they already know that it hurts again. I can hear the needle pricking into their skin and the puppies have their silent cry as the needle goes in.

Why puppies need immunization
Immunization helps our pets, fight against certain diseases like distemper and parvovirus. It boosts their immune system and produces antibodies to lessen the cause of certain viruses in the future. It also stops spreading viruses to other dogs. They still can live without vaccines that's what we were doing before. Since no vaccination is available and dog death cause is not rampant, but now as nature is degrading, viruses are spreading faster and our pets are prone to it. This is to ensure that our pets are also safe for us.
We went home and prepared their healthy lunch. There are after-effects, Chim the white one had diarrhea and keep on pooping. She keeps away from all of us and stays in the corner. Here we go again, I get worried and let her drink medication. I asked the doctor about it and she said it was a normal effect of the vaccine. Good to know my fear went off.
play time
In the afternoon they started to play, their naughtiness came back, and wanted to play with us. Thank God is all I can say.
I felt relieved and complacent as I watched them play.
Dogs are not just pets, they are family, so we better treat them as they are. For me they are our happiness, I was changed from an irritable to an approachable, that's what my husband told me. I love and understand more than before. Having pets is a choice, be a responsible one, and don't hurt them or ignore their needs, they have feelings too. If you cannot do that then don't get one. They are our angels sent from heaven yet without wings.
We are family
That's all for today and thank you for taking the time to read my story, See you on my next blog!
