It all started 4 years ago by a simple desire to have a pet who make me company and to be always by my side. I didn't have dogs at that time because Canela and Lucas, two canines that lived with me in my house died when I was ten years old. Canela was Lucas' mom and I lost her in a storm day. She was terrified of one thunder and jumped over the fence with all her strength and she ran away from my house. We never saw her again. Lucas a few days later he died of a strange disease that we never knew its name and we could not treat him. .I buried him in the backyard of my house with tears in my eyes because I loved him so much.
Walking one day near my house I saw a sign on a house that said "I give dog for adoption" and I didn't think about it and I dared to talk to the old lady who lived there. I explained to her that I needed a dog for myself because I like to feel accompanied by them and I promised her that I was going to take great care of him and give him all the attention he needed. She said yes and gave me a beautiful cream colored Pekingese, blue eyes and white cheeks. His look was so sweet and tender that I quickly became very fond of him, I decided to name him Coco because his look was so sweet. I thanked her for everything and went home with Coco in hand.
As soon as I arrived I bathed him and gave him food. After a while he started running around the house with a lot of joy and happiness as if he was trying to play with me and cheer me up. I picked up a ball and threw it to him so he would fetch it. I put a pot of water on the floor for him when he got thirsty. I prepared a small bed made with sheets for him to sleep in at night; although he didn't pay attention to the bed and lay down next to me at night.
