Last night we had a pretty cool storm. We had heavy monsoon style rain and a really nice thunderstorm. After the storm passed us, my dogs were sick of being couped up in the house and wanted to go out and explore the new smells in the backyard.
The lighting was so cool. Normally around this time of the day, the sun can be pretty harsh, but all of the clouds in the sky acted like a massive softbox that made everything look so cool.
I am going to be using some of these pictures to print off and frame and then hang them up on the walls in our home. Most people only put up pictures of the other humans in the family, but our pets are such important parts of our family that they get their own prints as well.
One of the coolest things about being a photographer is that you can always get some really cool shots to hang up around your home. I have been lucky enough to travel around the world before covid, so we have pictures from all over the world. I can't wait to be able to begin traveling again. Hopefully this bear market comes to an end soon because my wife and I are itchin to get out and see the world.
