Today I want to tell you that my dog is now the mother of 12 puppies. Thank God, they were all born healthy and strong, despite the difficulties. Giving birth wasn't easy for Bagheera. There were many complications, but God is good and merciful, and she was able to have her puppies with the help of her veterinarian and me.
Hoy quiero contarles que mi perra ahora es madre de 12 cachorros. Gracias a Dios, todos nacieron sanos y fuertes, a pesar de las dificultades. Dar a luz no fue fácil para Bagheera. Hubo muchas complicaciones, pero Dios es bueno y misericordioso, y pudo tener a sus cachorros con la ayuda de su veterinario y mía.
It all started at night, when I noticed she was quite restless, looking for somewhere to lie down. That's when I realized she was in labor. I immediately found her blanket and tried to make her comfortable, but it was impossible; she was panting profusely and scratching the walls, which is normal for dogs about to give birth.
Todo empezó por la noche, cuando la noté bastante inquieta, buscando dónde acostarse. Fue entonces cuando me di cuenta de que estaba de parto. Inmediatamente busqué su manta e intenté ponerla cómoda, pero le fue imposible; jadeaba profusamente y arañaba las paredes, algo normal en las perras a punto de parir.
We were waiting all night and no puppy, until the other day I called the vet and told him what was happening, then when the time came for the first spurt to be born I noticed that it was very hard for him to expel it, luckily the doctor was there at that moment and helped him get it out, the puppy had swallowed liquid so the doctor began to revive him until he cried.
Estuvimos toda la noche esperando y ningún cachorrito, hasta que el otro día llamé a su veterinario y le conté lo que pasaba, luego cuando llego el momento de que naciera el primer chorro note que le costaba mucho expulsarlo, por suerte el doctor estaba en ese momento y le ayudó a sacar, el cachorrito había tragado líquido así que el doctor empezó a reanimarlo hasta que lloró.
At that moment I got scared because I saw that my dog was suffering a lot and that was when the doctor told me that her pelvis was too narrow to expel the puppies on her own, she needed help throughout the entire delivery and that was when I gathered my courage and left my fear behind and began to help her along with the doctor, it was approximately 8 hours of labor friends, I was super exhausted and my dog was not to mention
En ese momento me asusté porque vi que mi perrita estaba sufriendo mucho y fue cuando el doctor me dijo que su pelvis estaba muy estrecha para expulsar sola a los cachorritos, ella necesitó ayuda durante todo el parto y fue cuando me armé de valor y dejé atrás el miedo y comencé a ayudarla junto con el doctor, fueron aproximadamente 8 horas de parto amigos, yo estaba súper agotada y mi perrita ni se diga.
Thank God everything went well and she is a very happy mother with all her babies, in total there were 6 females and 6 males.
Gracias a Dios todo salió bien y ella es una mamá muy feliz con todos sus bebés, en total fueron 6 hembras y 6 machos.
