Misú and Layka: Two super spoiled pets
Hola mis queridos Hivers amantes de las mascotas. Les deseo que sus días sean productivos y satisfactorios. En esta oportunidad quiero presentarles a dos peluditos hermosos.
Hello my dear pet-loving Hivers. I wish you a productive and fulfilling day. This time I want to introduce you to two beautiful furries.
Hace algún tiempo conocí a una persona muy especial para mí. Entre las dos surgió una linda amistad que ha perdurado y se ha mantenido intacta. Le doy gracias a Dios por eso. Ella es la dueña de los peluditos que les mencioné en la introducción. Y que por supuesto, los quiere muchísimo.
Some time ago I met a very special person for me. Between the two of us a beautiful friendship arose that has lasted and has remained intact. I thank God for that. She is the owner of the little furry ones I mentioned in the introduction. And of course, she loves them very much.
Por motivos personales tuvo que ausentarse de su hogar por unos días, y nos dejó a mi hijo y a mí el cuidado de sus pequeños. Como mi hijo trabaja, se podrán imaginar quién se quedó a cargo...pues yo 🤭. Nunca imaginé que me iba a encariñar tanto con ellos en ese poquito tiempo.
For personal reasons she had to leave her home for a few days, and left the care of her little ones to my son and me. As my son works, you can imagine who was left in charge...well, me 🤭. I never imagined that I would become so attached to them in that little time.
Misú, que es el gatito, es sumamente comelón y dormilón. Pasa todo el día en casa acostado donde más cómodo se siente. Puede ser en la batea, el mesón de la cocina, la mesa del comedor, el mueble de la sala, la cama de su dueña, y ¡hasta encima de la nevera! Me encanta verlo y tomarle fotos.
Misú, who is the kitten, is a big eater and a sleepyhead. He spends all day at home lying wherever he feels most comfortable. It can be on the dishpan, the kitchen counter, the dining room table, the living room furniture, his owner's bed, and even on top of the fridge! I love seeing it and taking pictures of it.
Luego de alimentarlo con su gatarina, pensaba que se quedaría tranquilo y ya, pero no, si estoy cocinando se queda allí y apenas termino comienza a "investigar" por si quedó algo de comida. Es súper divertido, porque se sube hasta la cocina. Un día que me descuidé se montó en el fregadero y se estiró hasta la sartén donde yo había preparado el desayuno, y, ni corto ni perezoso metió la trompita en él. Aquí les dejo la evidencia. Por supuesto, luego tuve que higienizarlo.
After feeding him with his cat, I thought he would stay quiet and that's it, but no, if I'm cooking he stays there and as soon as I'm done he starts "investigating" to see if there is any food left. It's super fun, because he climbs up to the kitchen. One day when I was careless he climbed on the sink and stretched to the pan where I had prepared breakfast, and, without hesitation, he put his little trunk in it. Here is the evidence. El caso de Layka es totalmente diferente. Ella pasa el día sumamente tranquila. Se acuesta bien sea en el piso de la sala, cocina, porche y en el patio. Come, bebe su agua, y a dormir. Eso sí, por las tardes le encanta jugar con un huesito de plástico y con su pelota. Donde quiera que yo esté me lo lleva en su hocico para que se lo lance y ella correr a buscarlo. Es de lo más juguetona y divertida. También bastante cariñosa.
Layka's case is totally different. She spends the day very quietly. She lies down either on the living room floor, kitchen, porch or in the yard. She eats, drinks her water and goes to sleep. Of course, in the afternoons she loves to play with a little plastic bone and her ball. Wherever I am, she carries it in her muzzle so I can throw it to her and she runs to get it. She is very playful and funny. She is also very affectionate.
Aaahh, y otra cosa de Layka es ¡que le gusta bailar! Un día que estaba yo en los quehaceres aproveché de hacerlos escuchando música, en una de esas que volteo la tengo a ella a mis pies, pero no sabía qué quería pues ya había comido. Bueno resulta que se me queda viendo y comienza a mover la cola, yo como echando broma le digo: "baila Laykita, baila" . Le insistí varias veces pero ella parecía no entender. Entonces me puse a bailar yo y parece mentira eso bastó para que ella se colocara patas arriba y comenzara a moverse al ritmo de la música. No lo podía creer ¡estaba bailando! Me emocioné tanto que busqué mi celular y le tomé un video para luego enviárselo a la dueña.
Aaahh, and another thing about Layka is that she likes to dance! One day when I was doing chores I took the opportunity to do them listening to music, in one of those that I turn I have her at my feet, but I didn't know what she wanted because she had already eaten. Well it turns out that she looks at me and starts to move her tail, I jokingly told her: "dance Laykita, dance". I insisted several times but she didn't seem to understand. Then I started to dance and it seems unbelievable that was enough for her to get upside down and start moving to the rhythm of the music. I couldn't believe it, I was dancing! I got so excited that I reached for my cell phone and took a video and sent it to the owner.
Cuando lo vió quedó impactada, ella no sabía que su perrita podría aprender a bailar. Estaba súper emocionada y me manifestó que la extrañaba y quería verla. Darle esa alegría a ella a través de esta experiencia con la perrita ha resultado inolvidable para mí.
When she saw it she was shocked, she didn't know that her dog could learn to dance. She was super excited and told me that she missed her and wanted to see her. Giving her that joy through this experience with the dog has been unforgettable for me.
Realmente ha sido una experiencia maravillosa el haber podido compartir con estos pequeños peluditos sus dulces y tiernas travesuras. Además de sus dotes "artísticos". De seguro quienes tienen mascotitas en sus hogares habrán disfrutado de muchas anécdotas alegres y divertidas con ellas, así como yo.
