How man's best friend relieved stress + a Pet Fiesta 🐶🐱🐰🐹🐸🐒🐩🐢🐍🦔

Last Friday, I could sense that my partner had a tough week at work and was feeling lethargic by Thursday. Sometimes, these emotional and mental state can easily affect our well-being for a period of time. We lose focus, become detached, etc.

What I did to temporarily set aside these work-stress - dog therapy. Hence, I took our youngest - Pluto, the stray to pick up my partner.

Pluto is a COVID puppy (being born during the COVID pandemic). Unlike our other furkids, due to the pandemic, he travelled the least. On the other hand, Suki, our oldest and a golden retriever, had the opportunity to attend a Pet Fiesta at Setia City Convention Center.

Back to Pluto's journey🐶, we drove approximately 28 kilometres to my partner's office and this boy was moving back and forth between the passenger and back seat (exactly like how I would picture an over-active human kid would be). Of course, I tried minimizing this as it is not safe.

I felt Pluto's positive energy and this made a difference to the cabin's ambience and elevated my spirit.

This is how he looked throughout the journey.

I sent these pictures to my partner before arriving and his mood was elevated positively..thankfully😛. Once we arrived, my partner couldn't help but smile at our overly-excited Pluto boy; who in less than a minute before my partner entered the car, Pluto got excited and sense that his dad was approaching.

Our focus and attention was wilfully and fully shifted towards our overly-excited puppy (though my partner reminds me weekly that Pluto is no longer a pup at approximately 26 kg and 1 year 9 months old 😅😝)

The stressful thoughts from work and negativity, unknowingly faded away by the innocent, demanding and happy-go-lucky Pluto; just by being himself.

I stopped and took a moment to process life, many times we take our loved ones or the ones closest to us for granted, especially our furry ones and for some non-furry. Many times, we unnoticely speak to them and seek comfort in them. Many times, they give us what no other or even we, ourself are able to give ourself, i.e. unconditional love, pure happiness, perseverence, etc.

This was how Pluto unnoticely lit up our day. 🐕
