El perro de 16 años se veía algo deteriorado, tenía partes ásperas y grises en su pelaje, ya no era tan ágil ni enérgico como los otros perros del refugio.
Zach estaba realmente conmovido y no podía soportar la idea de que este perro pasara sus últimos años de esta manera. Así que sin dudarlo se ofreció para ser el padre adoptivo de Henry en marzo de 2021. Su objetivo era asegurarse de que Henry conociera gente nueva y también creara nuevos y felices recuerdos.
Something that we must face when we have a dog is that they do not live as long as we would like. They accompany us in part of our lives, but they spend their whole lives with us, that is why we always hope to offer them the best possible life by our side. So thinks Zach Skow, co-founder of Marleys Mutts and the Pawsitive Change Program, who came across an older dog named Henry at the rescue center in Tehachapi, California. The 16-year-old dog looked somewhat run down, had rough gray patches on his coat, and was no longer as agile or energetic as the other dogs at the shelter.
Zach was truly moved and couldn't bear the thought of this dog spending his last years like this. So he without hesitation offered to be Henry's adoptive father in March 2021. His goal was to make sure Henry met new people and also created new happy memories.
