Hola hola hermosa comunidad de Hive Pets 🐱🐶 cómo están sus peluditos? El día de hoy vengo con un super post sobre el paseo a 2 parques para perros aquí en Caracas Venezuela.

Well these past weeks I've been a little bit away from Hive but I promise it's for a good reason (I've got some stuff coming 🤭).
But well, as part of all the chaos of last week, there were also good things, like these outings that I bring you next 😊
First I want to tell you about Arulfo park, which is hidden in the urbanization La Floresta (like all pet-friendly spaces in Caracas 😓).
Bueno estás semanas he estado un poco alejada de Hive pero les prometo que es por una buena razón (Se vienen cositas 🤭)
Pero bueno, como parte de todo el caos de la semana pasada, también hubieron cosas buenas, cómo estás salidas que les traigo a continuación 🤭
Primero quiero hablarles del parque Arulfo, que queda escondido en la urbanización La Floresta (cómo todos los espacios pet-friendly de Caracas 😓)
La Floresta is a small residential area in the east of Caracas quite expensive, that's where the presidential residence used to be (before they got scared of an attack and moved to Fuerte Tiuna, but that's another story).
Arulfo Park is a small green space of barely 1KM long, but that doesn't take away from its beauty. It has trees, rocks and people exercising with their furry friends.
As soon as she got out of the car, Púa went crazy and wanted to pull me all over the park. I don't know what got into her, but she was way too hyperactive 😅.
La Floresta es una pequeña zona residencial del este de Caracas bastante costosa, es allí donde antiguamente estaba la residencia presidencial (Antes que les entrará el miedo de un atentado y se mudarán a Fuerte Tiuna, pero eso es otra historia)
El parque Arulfo es un pequeño espacio verde de apenas 1KM de largo, pero eso no le quita lo bonito. Tiene árboles, rocas y personas haciendo ejercicio con sus peluditos.
En cuanto bajó del carro, Púa se puso como loca y quería jalame por todo el parquecito. Yo no sé que le dio, pero estaba demasiado hiperactiva 😅

As she was too restless, we decided to let her out to see how she behaved. Well, it was a pleasant surprise to see that Púa paid attention, came when we shouted and obeyed the command "NO".
I have few pictures because I was very attentive to Púa, since one of the disadvantages of this park is that it has several open entrances that face the street where the cars pass and I was afraid that she would get out.
The truth is that I would return to this park only occasionally, because I feel it is a bit dangerous and quite lonely.
Cómo estaba demasiado intranquila, decidimos soltarla a ver cómo se comportaba. Pues, fue una grata sorpresa ver qué Púa hacía caso, venía cuando le gritamos y acataba el comando "NO".
Tengo pocas fotos porque estaba muy pendiente de Púa, ya que una de las desventajas que tiene este parque es que tiene varias entradas abiertas que dan justo a la calle por dónde pasan los carros y tenía miedo que se saliera.
La verdad es que volvería a este parque sólo ocasionalmente, pues lo siento un poco peligroso y bastante solitario.
We continue with another dog park that I visited this past Sunday, the Vizcaya Park.
This one is far away... and when I say far is FAR 😅 According to the Google maps GPS it is about 30 minutes from where I live... but by car 🚙🚗
If I wanted to go alone on foot:
1)The app tells me that there are no routes 🤣
2)Obviously there is a route, but I would arrive is DEAD and Pua not to mention, it would blister his little paws.
But I must say that I did have a pleasant experience in this park, although there are a couple of details that I really see as bad.
Seguimos con otro parque para perros que visite este pasado domingo, el parque Vizcaya.
Este si queda lejos… y cuando digo lejos es LEJOS 😅 Según el GPS de Google maps queda a unos 30 minutos de dónde vivo… pero en carro 🚙
Si yo quisiera ir sola a patica:
1)La app me dice que no hay rutas 🤣
2)Obviamente hay una ruta, pero llegaría es MUERTA y Púa ni se diga, le haría ampollas en sus patitas.
Pero debo decir que de este parque sí me llevé una grata experiencia, aunque hay un par de detalles que de verdad los veo como malitos
Well, this park is divided into 2 parts. The part where you can let your dog run and the part where you have to keep him on a leash so he doesn't bother the people who are going to exercise.
The doggy area has a high fence to prevent the little dogs from running out into the street, an agility track and is long and wide enough to give them a good run.
The bad thing is that at the back there is no protection and what is behind is a ravine that ends in a river 😰.
Bueno este parque se divide en 2. La parte en la que puedes soltar a tu perrito para que corra y la parte en que debes llevarlo con correa para que no moleste a las personas que van a hacer ejercicio.
La zona para perritos si tiene su reja alta para evitar que los peluditos se salgan a la calle, tiene una pista de agility y es lo suficientemente largo y ancho para que de una buena carrera.
Lo malo es que al fondo no tiene protección y lo que queda detrás es un voladero que termina en un río 😰
It's pretty scary, but fortunately Púa listens and she already has the "NO" quite respected.
This day she wasn't so hyperactive. She saw that there were several dogs, some even puppies, but she ignored them Olympically because she was in guardian mode with my brother 😅
Ósea bastante aterrador, pero por fortuna Púa hace caso y ya tiene bastante acatado el "NO"
Este día no estaba tan hiperactiva. Vio que había varios perros, algunos incluso cachorros, pero los ignoró olímpicamente porque estaba en modo guardián con mi hermano 😅

After trying a couple of times to get him to climb the agility course challenges (and that even Isaac will use them better 😅) we decide to walk the other part of the park.

This part is about 2KM long but it is open, so it is important to keep pets on a leash.
Walking around we could see an interesting public library 🤩 I love this concept you drop off a book and you can take another one.
My mom took one, so we already have a commitment to go back to take a few that we will never read again.
Luego de intentar un par de veces que subiera a los retos de la pista de agility (y de que incluso Isaac los utilizará mejor 😅) decimos caminar por la otra parte del parque.
Esta parte tiene unos 2KM de extensión pero es abierta, por lo que es importante mantener a las mascotas con correa.
Caminando por allí pudimos ver una interesante biblioteca pública 🤩 Este concepto me encanta dejas un libro y puedes llevarte otro.
Mi mamá se llevó uno, así que ya tenemos un compromiso de regresar para llevar unos cuantos que ya no volveremos a leer.

The rest of the park is very nice, clean and tidy (as you can tell we are in the east of Caracas 😅) consists of at least 2 areas for physical training and 3 playgrounds for kids.
El resto del parque es muy bonito, limpio y ordenado (como se nota que estamos en el este de Caracas 😅) consta de al menos 2 áreas para entrenamiento físico y 3 parques para niños.

Pua loved it and so did we so we are waiting for a next free weekend so we can go here again 😊🐶🐺.
