¡Holaaaaa, comunidad bella de Hive Pets! 🐾
¿Cómo están esos amigos peludos que les alegran los días? Hoy vengo con una historia tierna, graciosa y muy felina que me pasó ayer, y no podía dejar de compartirla con ustedes.
Primero, contexto: hace un par de meses mi gata Mili se convirtió en mamá de cuatro pequeñitos peludos. Dos ya encontraron hogares donde los consientan como merecen, pero los otros dos (una gatita y un machito) siguen aquí conmigo. Ayer, después de muchas vueltas mentales, decidí: ¡se quedan en casa! 🎉
Y como soy indecisa nivel experto para elegir nombres, se me ocurrió una dinámica divertida para dejar que ellos eligieran por sí mismos... sí, tal cual lo leen 😂
Escribí los nombres que más me gustaban en papelitos. Para la hembra tenía en mente: Kiara, Mandi y Luna. Para el macho: Galán, Fígaro y Gus Gus (sí, muy Disney vibes 🐭✨). Corté los papelitos y los puse en el piso... ¿Cómo elegirían? Fácil: el primer papelito que tocaran con sus patitas, ese sería el elegido.
La gatita, sin pensarlo mucho, tocó tres veces el mismo nombre: Mandi 🩷. ¡Ella lo tenía clarísimo!
El macho también se decidió, aunque jugó un poquito más... terminó tocando dos veces el papelito de Gus Gus 🐾. ¡Y listo! Los nombres oficiales quedaron definidos por las mismas bolitas de pelo.
Fue una experiencia tan divertida y curiosa que me hizo pensar: ¿cómo harían ustedes para ponerle nombre a sus mascotas? ¿Los dejarían escoger también? 😄

How are those furry friends who brighten your days? Today I come with a tender, funny and very feline story that happened to me yesterday, and I couldn't help but share it with you.
First, context: a couple of months ago my cat Mili became mom to four furry little ones. Two of them have already found homes where they are pampered as they deserve, but the other two (a kitten and a male) are still here with me. Yesterday, after many mental twists and turns, I decided: they're staying home! 🎉
And since I'm an expert level indecisive when choosing names, I came up with a fun dynamic to let them choose for themselves... yes, just as you read it 😂.
I wrote the names I liked best on slips of paper. For the female I had in mind: Kiara, Mandi and Luna. For the male: Galán, Fígaro and Gus Gus (yes, very Disney vibes 🐭✨). I cut the slips of paper and put them on the floor.... How would they choose? Easy: the first piece of paper they touched with their little paws, that would be the chosen one.
The kitten, without thinking too much, touched the same name three times: Mandi 🩷. She had it very clear!
The male also made up his mind, although he played a little bit more... he ended up playing twice the role of Gus Gus 🐾. And that was it! The official names were defined by the hairballs themselves.
It was such a fun and curious experience that made me think: how would you guys go about naming your pets? Would you let them choose too? 😄
