It's been a long time since I have written a post about my dog "Gigi". The last post was about her health issue and I am feeling really glad to inform you now that she is doing great and well so far. Her health has improved a lot, her diet changed and her eyes are doing okay than before. Her allergic issue was so severe that her eyes used to stay red all the time and she was also suffering from lymph node issues... But now things are better...
I try to give her time as much as possible but sometimes due to my work schedule I can't pay attention to her. She will be one year in the upcoming month, July and after noticing her behavior, I am pretty much impressed. She has learned how to behave at home and she adjusted herself with me completely. She knows what to do, what not to do in fact I often wonder where she is learning so many new things. I must say she is very intelligent and clever as well, learn new things faster than me :P...
She is much calmer than before while walking outside. Yes, she still gets excited when we go out but not like before. She still pulls the lease for a certain period then becomes calm and walks slowly. I can understand her excitement because she lives in a small place so when she sees the large area for running and jumping, she can't hold herself of not doing that. It makes me happy to see her like this...
I have been focusing on her diet especially plus also giving her eyedrops too every day. Her eyes stay wet and she feels better. Moreover, I am planning to take her to the groomer soon as she needs a nice bath and hair comb. Also need to trim her hair.
Sometimes I take her to the dog park which is located 20 minutes walking distance from my home. I keep her away from big male dogs as she is not sprayed yet but I will neutralize/sprayed her soon. Also, I am giving her some medicines to control flees which the doctor has recommended to me. Every 3 months after I have to give her that one tablet.
She likes playing with other dogs but not always. She prefers human companions more than dogs but she likes to play with small dogs. The brown dog you are seeing in the picture is OSCAR. He likes my dog Gigi a lot. I sometimes say that he has a crush on her and he wants to make Gigi her girlfriend... Funny story, hahaha... I like to tease Gigi saying this often... Oskar lives in the same building where we live but the floor is different. I don't let Gigi meet Oscar now because She needs to get sprayed first...
Life has been okay for both of us so far, in fact, Gigi is enjoying her teenage life now. She is a very stubborn and playful dog who is obedient and loyal. I must say I have taken one of the best decisions in life adopting her. She is a great dog and a great friend...
Everybody loves her who loves Dogs...
