My Beautiful Sunday with a Stranger...
Yesterday all of a sudden I decided to go to the riverside. I was thinking to spend my time in the city center but suddenly I decided to go outside of the city. Not very far away, it was 20 minutes drive from my home. Of course, taxi fare is high during the weekend and due to summer time but I didn't care as I just wanted to go to the riverbank to see the sunset.
It was Sunday and many people already left the city to spend time in their country houses or summer houses. Some were coming back but students have already left the city for their homes because of summer vacation. My aim was to spend some time at Lozovenka Riverbank and eat some snacks there. Basically, we have planned a mini picnic to enjoy the sunset and the idea was to spend time there up to 9.0 clock.
It took me 20 minutes to reach the spot, it's open for everyone and anyone can go there to enjoy the riverside atmosphere. It was a really beautiful time and I have found a nice spot for both of us to sit down. Many people were already there and some families were spending time together.
There were some sitting arrangements for the people who visit the spot and they have a restaurant and bar nearby. I am sure every day many people come here to spend time as it is very close to the city or I can say it's inside the Kharkiv Oblast.
I was sitting on a chair near the river and was looking at the sky and the river. Suddenly I felt someone came near me and sat silently without disturbing me. She was looking at me with a desire of petting and it was none other than a chocolate labrador retriever. She was wearing a pink collar with a locket and her name was KIRA. Her eyes were brown and she was entirely socked with water. Definitely, she took a swim in the river and played and then came to me.
She is a very friendly labrador and I am sure anybody will fall in love with her on the first side. She is well trained and she came to us to spend some time. She spends almost half an hour with us and then left when her owner called her...
I guess she was 5-6 years old and a very obedient girl. I don't know what she saw in me but her way of showing love and friendly attitude truly amazed me. Because I never found anyone here who really loves to pet labradors except labrador owners. In fact today's morning a bad incident happened with me and Gigi and somehow I felt that some humans don't know how to show kindness and don't know how to behave. This was the first time I showed my reaction towards a Ukrainian because she is so Rude and using bad words to me and Gigi.
So after the morning's incident, I was checking these pictures and understood that not all humans are capable to understand the bonding of humans and animals.
