What is the funniest thing your dog has ever done?
Polar likes to steal my flip-flops. He snatches them and runs off, knowing I'm going to chase him down. He's faster than me,and the moment I get close to snatch what's mine from him, he growls as if to tell me I won't snatch them away so easily. Likewise, he dodges my movements and, almost mockingly, opens his mouth so my flip-flops fall to the ground. Then he barks, like a wolf pup, and shakes his head sideways, perhaps to challenge me, saying:
"Come get them, old man."
I'm not an old man, but perhaps because I run slowly, Polar thinks I am. I chase him, panting, though he finishes as if nothing happened. The chase ends when he gets bored of the flip-flops and leaves them lying around. Sometimes he buries them; other times I have to buy new flip-flops.
He has fun watching me suffer, even though he knows I'm having fun too. Once he bit me when I managed to get his flip-flops off, but he bit me playfully. He doesn't like to lose; he always has to win.

He once made an aunt cry.
He lay down on the grass and stuck out his tongue, staying still so the sun could dry his muddy fur. My aunt saw him lying there and thought he was dead. She started crying while she shook him, and Polar didn't move at all.
We all went out into the yard to see why my aunt was screaming like crazy, and at that moment she told us Polar had died. We cried too. But suddenly, Polar ran off and scared us all. He ran as if nothing had happened and barked while wagging his tail. No one laughed at that moment; we thought it was a terrible joke.

Polar loves getting dirty.
He's as white as a sheet of paper, but he loves mud to get rid of the soap we bathe him with. First, we chase him because he won't let us bathe him: he hates water that isn't for drinking. The four of us have to grab him because he starts screaming; we stroke his fur to keep him calm, and then we take the opportunity to spray him with the watering can.
He stays still, yes, but that's because he knows what he'll do next.
Once we dry him with the towel and order him not to get dirty, he runs off and disappears from our sight. Soon he returns covered in mud, with grass particles, as if to prove that no one and nothing will take away his desire to be born brown and not white.

Polar is a stubborn canine; he hates dogs who come up to the fence to greet him. He barks at them again and again, and then struts with his hind legs to show he's the boss.
He also gets up on two legs to hug us and get mud on our pants. Furthermore, it doesn't like cats bringing their nighttime lovers, and if they do, it chases them down to devour them... no, I'm kidding, he doesn't devour them, but he does chase them away with barks.

¿Cuál es la travesura más graciosa que ha hecho tu perro?
A Polar le gusta robarme las cholas. Se las lleva y sale corriendo, a sabiendas de que lo voy a perseguir para quitárselas. Es más rápido que yo, y en el momento que me acerco para tomar lo mío, gruñe como para decirme que no se las arrebataré tan fácilmente. Esquiva mis movimientos y, en casi una burla, abre el hocico para que mis chanclas caigan al suelo. Luego ladra, semejante a un lobo cachorro, y mueve la cabeza a los lados, tal vez para retarme diciendo:
"Ven por ellas, anciano."
No soy un anciano, pero quizás por mi lentitud al correr Polar piense que soy uno. Lo persigo, jadeando, aunque él termina como si nada. La persecución termina cuando se aburre de las chanclas y las deja tiradas por ahí, a veces las entierra, otras veces me toca comprar nuevas cholas.
Se divierte, viéndome sufrir, aunque sabe que me divierto también. Una vez me mordió cuando logré quitarle las chanclas, pero me mordió jugando. No le gusta perder, él siempre debe ganar.
Una vez hizo llorar a una tía.
Se tumbó sobre la grama y sacó la lengua, y se quedó inmóvil para que el sol secara el pelaje lleno de lodo. Mi tía lo vio ahí tumbado y pensó que había muerto. Se puso a llorar mientras lo sacudía, y Polar no se movió en ningún momento.
Todos salimos al patio a ver por qué mi tía gritaba como una loca, y en ese instante ella nos dijo que Polar se había muerto. Nosotros lloramos también. Pero de pronto, Polar salió corriendo y nos espantó a todos. Corrió como si nada, y ladró mientras movía la cola. Ninguno rio en ese momento; nos pareció una broma muy pesada.
A Polar le encanta ensuciarse.
Él es blanco como un papel, pero le encanta el lodo para sacarse el jabón con el que lo bañamos. Primero, lo perseguimos porque no se deja bañar: odia el agua que no sea para beber. Debemos agarrarlo entre los cuatro porque se pone a chillar; le acariciamos el pelaje para que se quede tranquilo y ahí aprovechamos para rociarlo con la regadera.
Se queda quieto, sí, pero es porque sabe lo que hará a continuación.
Una vez que lo secamos con la toalla, y le ordenamos que no se vaya a ensuciar, él sale corriendo y se pierde de nuestra vista. Al poco tiempo regresa embarrado de lodo, con partículas de grama, como demostrando que nadie ni nada le quitará su deseo de nacer marrón y no blanco.
Polar es un canino obstinado; odia a los perros que se acercan a la cerca a saludarlo. Les ladra una y otra vez, una y otra vez, y luego arrastra las patas traseras para demostrar que quien manda es él.
También se levanta en dos patas para abrazarnos y llenar nuestros pantalones de lodo. No le gusta que las gatas traigan a sus enamorados nocturnos, y si lo hacen, él los persigue para devorarlos... no, es broma, no los devora, pero sí los corre con ladridos.
